   Really love this place. Great service and amazing food every time. You should try the cheeseburger if you visit. Share as an appetizer or enjoy as an entree. Comes with a dipping sauce that is out of this world amazing!

   Wow. They nailed it. I enjoyed lunch on this visit. The decor is a subtle intertwining of culture’s, as is the food. The fusion of flavors was exquisite and not overdone. It was delicate yet comfort food: Asian and Southern Texas cuisine. Add to that a welcoming staff from hostess to server. I’m married to a renown French chef and a very spoiled foodie who has traveled the world tasting, and I am coming back to this restaurant for dinner before I leave. It is that good. Bravo.    First off, Dez! Amazing server and quick attention when needed. Bar was fantastic, drinks were very tasty. We had several items, cooked to perfection. While it appeared portions were small, appearances were deceiving. The food was well prepared and plated. We will return for dinner!

   We were seated at a bench style table. Meaning 1/2 of the seating was a very long bench shared with other patrons. The bench seat was extremely low. So my boyfriend swapped seats with me. He looked like he was a little boy at the adults table. He decided to come across the table and sit next to me rather than sit on the short bench. The meal was delicious. Afterwards we went downstairs to the bar to continue the fun evening. We highly recommend Tokyo Cowboy!

   Food was good for the price. Service was friendly, but overall we thought it was a bit below par. We had to keep asking for extras (forks, napkins, etc.), and a couple of items were missed (coffee with dessert, and my wife’s entree came with jalapeños after she ordered without).

   Our first time here, but certainly not our last. We were not sure what to expect, but the mostly small plate menu was great. We tried six different items and all were well prepared and served nice and hot (or cold if it was appropriate). Service was very good and our table on the patio overlooking the river was quite nice. Nice selection of sake was available. Bar drinks were well made. They have a happy hour from 4 - 6 p.m. with a selection of reduced price drinks.

   The service was good, food was okay, not so tasty. They really need to do something about the ventilation or AC.

   I have been wanting to try Tokyo Cowboy for quite some time. Our first visit was quite wonderful! The food was excellent, drinks were delicious and service was great! Had the perfect anniversary dinner. Definitely looking forward to coming back! :)

   Good food, interesting spot, great drinks, great service. The stairs to the bathroom are slippery though (definitely fell, thank goodness I was holding the railing). Solid ankle bruise 😬

    Overall a good experience and food was tasty. But it was crazyyyy loud and very hard to hear conversations at our own table. We were ready to leave.
