Super accommodating. We were unaware of the age restrictions after 7 but the manger made it work and sat us at the kitchen bar. Food came out fast hot and the chef interacted with us the entire time. So glad i finally was able to experience Toca. Can’t wait to come back without the 8 year old. Haha!

Brunch at Toca Madera was an absolute delight! I ordered the avocado toast and the açaí bowl, and the pairing was perfection. The avocado toast was beautifully plated—crisp, hearty bread piled high with sliced avocado, a touch of citrus, and just the right amount of seasoning. It tasted as fresh as it looked. The açaí bowl was equally impressive—vibrant, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The textures from the fruit, granola, and smooth açaí purée balanced each other beautifully. Together, these two dishes made for the perfect brunch combo: light but satisfying, clean yet indulgent. I’ll definitely be back for this winning duo!

Probably the worst restaurant experience ever. I’ve gone to this restaurant several times before and had a great experience, but what happened? I’m pretty certain I’ll never go again. To keep it brief, we showed up 2 minutes before our reservation and were told we’d be seated soon. We headed to the bar and after waiting 30 minutes approached a manager to ask when we might be seated. He was exceptionally rude and basically told us we needed to understand that they got slammed and to be patient. Nearly an hour into waiting we asked again. Got the same attitude. We were about to leave when an hour-ten after our reservation, we were seated. We waited at the table for 10 minutes with no service so we decided to leave. On the way out I stopped to tell the same manager “So not cool.” His response: “I don’t know what to tell you. We’re a very busy restaurant.” I know they’ll continue to be a very busy restaurant no matter how many customers they alienate, but Toca is no longer Toca.

Too noisy to hear any conversation. Service was terrible! Slow. Never brought things we requested. Server disappeared frequently. Steak was mediocre at best. Very disappointing.

My family and I had a nice time at this restaurant because the food was really good, however, the ambience was rough because it was super loud and hard to have a conversation from one person to the other person across the table. We asked the manager to lower the music and he said that there was nothing that he could do because that’s just the vibe of the restaurant. Aside from that the food and service was great. Just wish we could’ve had better conversations!

Very rushed experience. Told we had to order starters and entree up front. Entrees were delivered when we were only 1/3 of the way through the starters. Food was okay, nothing special. The vegetables were terrible, rock hard broccolini with a nasty miso sauce. We were in and out in less than an hour, even on a quiet Tuesday evening. Very disappointed with the experience.
