Tucked away next to the Thompson Hanson nursery Tiny Boxwoods is a chef driven restaurant that believes in food that feels fresh, rustic and beautiful. We enjoy small menus featuring "from scratch" cooking. Our produce and fish are delivered fresh every single day and we make almost everything we serve in house all the way down to the honey we get from our own bees. Our flatbreads on our meat & cheese board, our house made pizzas, and the day’s catch are just a few items that are prepared each night in our wood burning oven. We are passionate about our food, but we feel even stronger about providing our guests with exceptional service from a well-mannered and smiling staff and don’t leave without trying one of our famous chocolate chip cookies!

This was my first dinner at Tiny Boxwoods. We were a group of four friends dining. It is a beautiful spot and lovely to sit outside and enjoy the special surroundings. The food was good overall, though not 5 star level, but all well prepared. Drinks were tasty if a tad dear price-wise. Service capable but not quite polished enough to meet the setting. Overall a great choice because of the gorgeous outdoor setting and nice food.

We had dinner here recently with another couple. The sevice and food were outstanding. We had been previously for lunch. you can;t make a reservation for lunch but you can for dinner. The setting is an old plant nursery so there is exstensive outdoor seating and places for children to play. The evening menu is more extensive than lunch. Our friends had the Seafood Bouillibase and Watercolor, a spicy shrimp and crab dish with herbed butter served over coconut rice. I had the catch of the day which was a wood fire grilled skin on red snapper filet served with champagne buerre blanc and a choice of side. I chose the crispy brussels sprouts. Fantastic. They even showed a movie on a sheet outside as we were leaving. Great place.

Great place, food is very good, limited selections. WIne list is very limited. Staff is all over and very good. Cozy and fun. Just wish the deserts were not so BIGGGGGGGG
