Garces is masterful in combining tastes, textures and presentation. Ortzi was a NY favorite. Tinto in Philly is also outstanding.
This is not the pre-Covid Tinto, so don’t expect it to be the same layout. The menu is also much reduced. However, the quality of the food and service are amazing. Different experience, but will be back.
Not very welcoming. Offputting menu and the servers don’t make you feel comfortable.

We were so thrilled about having the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic dinner at Tinto. From having them accommodate our reservation to a larger party, to the level of care shown through the delicious tasting of tapas and the outstanding service! If you have not tried Tinto yet, take it for a spin, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for such a lovely time!
The food is amazingly good. Service was great, the staff knew the menu really well. The decoration can be better but is not bad
Efficient service is always appreciated, but I think it was TOO efficient here, taking away from the experience a bit. The dining model is small plates, so suggest you inform your server you’d like to take your time and eat more gradually if that’s something you’re seeking from your evening out. Otherwise, prepare to be done in 30 minutes.
First time visiting Tinto since the pandemic. The menu has changed, it is much smaller now, but the quality is just as high. I went with a friend and we shared 5 small plates. The cheese plate was a great way to start our meal, the accompaniments were absolutely perfect. The lamb skewer in a sweet onion cream sauce was delicious, I could drink that sauce out of a cup. But the highlight of our meal was without a doubt the duck confit brochette. The Sourdough toast was perfectly seasoned and toasted and the duck melted in my mouth like butter.
Wonderful spot for tapas before a performance at the Mann Center. Excellent wine and cocktail choices and a small, wonderfully focused menu. Each small plate we ordered was better than the one that had come before.
Delicious food! Shared the seafood paella and highly recommend.

Reasonably priced and food is pretty tasty, with some exceptional things (duck and octopus in the small bites), and more regular ones (ham croquettes). The sangria Blanca was not special for my taste, but the wine they chose for us to pair with the paella was good. Service is very attentive, although not always with a smile.
Have been a big fan for years. They have severly cut back menu and restaurant but still had a great time.
No coffee served on weekends/sold out of all desserts/they used to give you choices on the tasting menu and now it is fixed
We ate outside, so the noise was that of the street. We chose the tasting menu (with wine pairings) and were quite happy with all three courses. Pre-pandemic, we used to hang out in the bar (for happy hour), so we were thrilled that the food and the service was as we remember it. The cheese and meat pairings (as an appetizer) were one of our bar menu staples. The paella was outstanding.
I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly.

My first time going to Tinto and am excited to go back. We only made it through the small plates and did not get to the paella, but the people around me who had it said it was amazing.
The small plates are so good, their sauces are the best, they had a blue cheese on the cheese tray that was the best I have ever had.
Each and every plate was delicious. Service was great, very friendly... and really busy. It was priced perfectly. I cannot wait to go back once again.
Food was good. It is a fun place to go for a bite before. It was very warm and humid in the dining room.
Finally had a chance to try this place which is only few blocks from where I live. Had a lovely meal of salad with pistachios and grapefruit (refreshing and absolutely delicious) and their seafood paella (had to ask them to hold the chorizo as I don’t eat meat) over black rice—so yummy! Enough to share but was dining alone so took home leftovers. Sat outside on a nice evening and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. My only wish is that there would be a few vegetarian main course options. I do eat seafood but that was all I could order (except for olives and a cheese plate). But I’ll be back as the paella was delicious!

We had a great dinner. The food is amazing, staff was great and the restaurant was overall wonderful.
The restaurant lacked ambiance, where were seated with my OT reservation, the tables were very crowded, it was very dark, noisy and we had to listen to crashing dishes being bussed and watch the bathroom door open and close all evening.
There was no audible music to be heard? The wine prices were thru the roof, the least expensive “Rioja” was $60? I won’t even mention any of the other named wine prices. We ordered the pitcher of sangria which only served 4 glasses and had a LOT of ice, so we could have just ordered 4 glasses of better wine? Good service, and good food though!!

Not the top Garces restaurant in my mind. Food was OK, not bad, but nothing to write home about.
The tapas changed since my last visit (they were much better the first time around). The noise level was a bit much but, for such a small space, it was expected and tolerable. The service was good and overall it was an enjoyable experience.

This was a much anticipated meal for us and we were left mostly disappointed. We ordered the chef's tasting to get a broad sense of the menu.
Some dishes were certainly good, while others fell flat. Unfortunately, one of the waiters serving us gave only names and nonspecific descriptions of the dishes, so we were left in the dark through the first two courses.
The highlight for us was the goat cheese flan, it was decadent and well assembled.
Beer selection: sparse
It was a beautiful ambient location with excellent service and food. Would recommend to others and return to try other dishes
