The staff really made our stay welcome. I had been emailing to ask for a window seat and was informed it was a first come, first served basis. When we arrived I mentioned it again and the staff were able to secure one for us after a short wait. It was our one year wedding anniversary and they made it special for us!

Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Its truly is a 5star service. Aman gave us such a amazing brilliant service. There was few others that has been checking on us topping our drinks and giving such an amazing service. Overall I give everyone and specially Aman an outstanding rating.

Expected more for £356 for table for two and set menu of £89 per head. Didn't get a window seat despite stating that it was our anniversary. We asked what the wagyu steak as an add on to the egg fried rice was about, we didn't get told that it was the same as the Raw we had already ordered so was £40 wasted. Wok fried prawn was dry. Had to wait for the rice while the mains beef and prawn got cold. Why not serve it together? Raspberry desert was awful. Something you could buy from Sainsbury's local. The other deserts were nothing to write home about either. £26 for two lychee mocktail which was half ice and half Rubicon lychee juice. My word. Ok it's a hot day but the smell walking past the food counters towards the toilet showed a sub standard level of cleanliness for such a high end operation. Sadly my conclusion is overpriced hype. I would rush back.

Good value Sharing Lunch Menu. Food was excellent in presentation, taste and quantity. Service excellent as ever at ShangriLa Hotels and Restaurants. Staff polite and knowledgeable, friendly yet non-intrusive, on-hand to assist to ensure an enjoyable experience. Thank you to the kitchen and service teams.

I ordered one G&T, 2 starters, one spicy tuna tartare and beef tartare & bone marrow, a bottle of still water and a glas of wine. Even thought I asked the waiter not to hurry, so I could enjoy my G&T, the 2 starters were served within 7 min from placing my order. It´s not very enjoyable to be rushed throught your meal like that. It all came to £ 106,50. The food was unremarkable. The whole dining experience in The Shard is highly overrated. Go to Paris and you can eat in one of the best brasserie for less than half that price and the food would without a doubt be a lot nicer.

Pros: Accommodated our request to sit by the window Were very careful with my sister's allergy Waitress was attentive Cons: Ting was advertised as a premier Asian-inspired eatery but what it was left much to be desired. The prix fix menu included two appetizers, two entrees, and dessert. Unfortunately, the flavors were heavy handed - nearly a mockery of Asian fusion. The egg rolls came with an odd ginger gravy that overwhelmed the palate. Next, the chicken satay was instead sliced, oven roasted thighs with a peanut curry sauce that tasted neither of peanuts or curry -only ginger. We got to the first "entree" - six thin slices of sickly sweet, overcooked pork belly and a side of very sour bok choy. When our next entree arrived, it looked a lot more substantial, but it too, disappointed. The first bite was so overwhelming in lemongrass that it tasted like I had just mowed a lawn with my mouth. Trying to remove the flavors from my mouth with the "fried" rice led me to a dish that was as white as snow and just as flavorful. We declined to eat more than a bite of this entree and called our waitress over to decline the dessert as well. By this point, we had been sitting for over an hour and had to get to our next appt so were forced to decline the server's offered alternatives. When the check came, we were a bit shocked as they hadn't added a discount for the meal. We asked and the waitress was able to convince her manager to remove the VAT and service fee. So for what amounted to three appetizers and a side, we paid over $150 USD. Not exactly the fine dining experience we were expecting.

It was an outstanding experience! A memorable birthday indeed celebrating for the first time with our little one and experiencing an Asian Fusion cuisine that is fantastic! Plus the ambiance and the live music, it gave an extra happy vibe whilst we enjoy the food. The staffs are very friendly from the security on the entrance door upto the restaurant crews, we are accommodated very well. Thank you for making my birthday so special!
