Tīng, named after the Chinese word for ‘living room’, is the collective name for the restaurant and lounge on level 35.The lounge will offer a distinctive à la carte menu of authentic Shangri-La Asian specialties, including curry laksa, Hainan chicken rice and char koay teow. Served in theatrical elegance, the city’s afternoon tea will be taken to a new level with two unique offerings – a classically English experience and an Asian-inspired alternative, both complemented by an exclusive selection of over 30 teas.

Glad I went as it may be the last time I see some of my friends! Service and food was great and we even managed to get a nice seat near the window

Staff members are wonderful and very welcoming. Everything is great apart from the food which took ages to come out but it is fine. Overall perfect, thanks for having us for the night :))

This a wonderful experience except the service is absolutely terrible - I cannot understand why in a super luxury hotel and a top environment that was reasonably full, one is essentially ignored by staff who mostly were standing around or talking to each other. It was appalling.

High priced food (including £5 for still water) that was delicious. Great tea. NOTE: They add a 12.5% service charge then also have a tip space.

The food was great! The chicken satay was the best thing, overall a nice experience. Some staff members did give odd looks and weren’t the most welcoming, which is a shame as it did make me feel uncomfortable at times, especially since it was my first time here :/
