Not an inexpensive dinner which we understood going in. Dry aged T-Bone was cooked exactly to order and unremarkable in texture/flavor. Lobster tail was tiny for the added $19.95 also unremarkable. As I've often encountered all over west Michigan, wine of standard portion was served in too small of a thick rimmed glass with little air space to enjoy it. Understand we're in a "beer state" but hope someone eventually realizes a better glass alone would elevate both the wine and the whole experience. Appetizer of stuffed mushrooms was served over fresh wilted spinach and good. Staff put forth effort and service was fine but maybe presented a bit slower than most for a leisurely meal. They weren't busy on a Friday night. I wouldn't say we'd not return because the options in the area are extremely limited. Hopefully they can up their game a bit. However, the better value is across the street.

First time diner. We looked forward to trying Timbers Prime and were very disappointed in our experience. The restaurant was not full and there appeared to be enough wait staff, however, something was off in the kitchen. They were out of aged beef (due to a freezer problem?) and limited on other cuts. Several, in our party, had to change what they ordered. The menu is extensive (may be one of the problems) and varied. I had fish, and while it tasted fine, it was not hot. One of the steaks was so small (the 4oz) that it only took 3 bites to eat it. I did not hear anyone say the food wasn't good, it also took way too long to get it. We appreciate a higher end restaurant but expect more when it comes to what we paid, and how it turned out, at Timber Prime. We won't return unless we hear things have vastly improved.

First of all, the meat was outstanding! The taste was fab and the temperature was perfect on all 6 of our orders. The appetizers were also fantastic: bruschetta and brussel sprouts. The sides were not so good since every single one was only lukewarm: steak fries, mashed potatoes, spinach, mushrooms, baked potato. Our beverages were delicious, however, one drink was severed nearly 10 minutes after the others: not great for a pre-dinner “cheers to summer!” All in all, we had a good meal and plan to come back.

The tuna appetizer was amazing! Our food came out hot and delicious. Service was good but entrees were slow coming out. Overall, Timbers was excellent. This was our best meal while on vacation.

Server unaware of dry aged filet, baked potato and Chicken Marsala. We had to make 3 new choices. No appetizer ordered and it took over an hour and a half to receive our orders only to find out about baked potato then.

My husband and I were delighted to find this gem in Ludington. Everything was perfect from the easy street parking to the cheesecake. The pork chop was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. The Cosmopolitan was the best I've had in years. The Biscoff Cheesecake was the best cheesecake we've ever had. Zero complaints about this restaurant.

The best place for steaks in Ludington! I’ve been here several times and get the 8 oz filet mignon with a side of sautéed mushrooms and Cesar salad. Love the food here. Seems they don’t often have enough staff. Prime cut steaks here. So good and done right.

Dinner at Timbers was a great experience the ambience was great the food excellent but the main thing for us was the service from our waitress to the hostess and bartender who all talked to us and checked on us A beautiful difference in a world that seems to still use COVID fiasco as a reason to say “please be patient we are short staffed” Timbers was awesome and we will be back a great place to dine and have cocktails

We ate there for the first time this year last night. We started with the Calamari, which was a little rubbery, but the coating and sauce was good. My wife and I both had filets, which were cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. Service was excellent, and everything came out in a timely fashion. Atmosphere is a little drab, with gray walls and cement floor, but overall a great experience.

I'll lead with the good. Food was DELICIOUS!! Steak and lobster were some of the best I've tasted! Now for the bad... we had reservations for 7:15, waited 20 minutes from being sat to order 1 glass of wine. Wine came 15 minutes after the order was placed. Waitress waited on 4 other tables (all of which had either wrong Food brought to them or had an issue from the kitchen) before coming back to take our food order (another 20 minutes passed). Food took 55 minutes after ordering to be served to us. We were literally there almost 2 hours from being sat until we got our food. Only got an apology and no discount for this what so ever. We paid $111 for 2 people. We had plans to see a band play and almost missed their entire show because of this.Again, Food was delicious but service was excruciatingly terrible. If you go here, make sure to not schedule ANYTHING after your dinner plans because you won't make it to them. Had high hopes for this place, but I've heard the same stories from so many others. Not going back.

Had a great dinner last night! Filets we’re awesome and pork chop was delicious. Everything cooked to order perfectly and food served warm. Bartender was attentive to details and even came to the table to ask how we wanted a couple things prepared. Will definitely go back!

Hubby and I went for a nice dinner. Our steaks were tender and cooked just right. Shrimp appetizer was great. It was a delicious meal. Our server was attentive. Only nit picks would be that the restaurant was kind of loud, and decor was minimal for my taste. We would definitely go back.

Unfortunately, our experience was not what we were hoping for. We waited for an hour for our food and once we got it, our steak was undercooked, potato was not done, and the lobster tail was cold. The chicken penne was warm and good, but it was obvious that it was the last thing cooked while everything else sat and got cold. Cocktails were good so that helped and we were also given a discount on our meal.
