I’ve been to Tilth before and it’s always a lovely experience. Both food and service are top notch! I’ll always come back!
The food was exquisite, both in presentation and taste.
Oyster mushrooms in barbecue sauce the only meal I would NOT recommend.
This was one of the best meals I have had in ages. Everything was fresh and bright. Wait staff was efficient and knowledgeable. We loved everything we ordered.
The food was good, but not as amazing as I expected it to be given the cost of the tasting menu
Tilth is reliably good. The food there is always made with locally sourced ingredients. We ate there on Sunday and all were pleased with their meal except me. I asked politely for regular syrup and was not given it. Instead, I got a strawberry one that tasted dreadful. I asked once more and still never got it. For that reason, I have docked them a star.
I never write these things, but for $40 the lamb was overcooked (although seasoned perfectly), and the wine by the glass choices stink for a wine list of that caliber.
Great food in a great setting. Really appreciate the wealth of delicious vegetarian options.
Tilth is one of the hidden gems in Seattle.
Definitely top three meals of our lives. We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairing. Well worth the price. What a wonderful experience.
It’s quiet, we were seated immediately and there is a lot of care put into the food. Yogurt, quiche, tuna salad were all tasty. Cons - the service is extremely slow. Fine if you are lingering but still a little slow for us, considering how long our coffee was empty. My waffle was dry to borderline inedible. We will try one more time.
My mom and I shared a large summer squash salad, and two small plates: the pan roasted halibut, and the lamb loin. Each dish was absolutely fabulous; cooked to perfection and accompanied by sides and sauces that made the dishes sparkle with flavor. Best of all we still had room for dessert - and can highly recommend the Theo's chocolate cake and the strawberry shortcake. A fantastic dining experience.
Tilth is one of my favorite summer spots...especially in the courtyard! I love their fun interesting food!
We have never had a bad meal here. It’s always solid, delicious, seasonal and fresh. I took my husband here to celebrate a work milestone on a weekday and it was pleasantly quiet. Small note: We barely drink but did want a sip of wine and they were happy to accommodate us with a half glass.
Stellar food everytime i have been. Love the brunch on Sundays.
Outstanding food and amazing service from Amethyst. A wonderful evening. I would highly recommend Tilth.
Excellent food and wine. The flavors were amazing and the paired wines went so well. Top dining experience.
Always a great experience! We had the five course tasting menu with wine pairings, and everything was delicious, as always. I will say that they used to give us little bags of their granola at the end of the meal, but they haven't done that in a while. It was a super nice extra that I miss. That's literally my only complaits. Everything was great, and the service is exceptional.
Great food, beautiful presentation, an overall fantastic experience!
I brought my family here who were visiting from out of town. We had a vegetarian and gluten allergy in our party and everyone was able to eat fully and beautifully. Andre was our server and he was fantastic; knowledgable, personable, warm and funny. I love this restaurant and can't wait to come back and taste more goodness!
Tilth outdid themselves again. The food was delicious, the service outstanding, and it was everything we expected and more!
Truly enjoyed every aspect of our special-occasion dinner. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were invited to take our time, savoring the lovely soft and warm decor, get guidance from our server on food and drink selections, the nicely paced service and the delicious food, so attentively prepared. Standouts for me were the burrata, summer squash salad, bread with cultured butter, octopus, lamb, and lavender creme brûlée.
Our meal was delicious and the service amazing. Unfortunately the tight quarters make it challenging to feel entirely comfortable. For the price we prefer something with much better ambiance.
This was our first time dining at Tilth after years hearing great things about it from friends. Everything we ordered was amazing ... tasty, creative, visually stunning. Very much looking forward to our next meal there.
Food quality was very good, except tuna in the salad had too much of that plastic-y connective tissue tuna is known for. Tasted fresh and good, just unappealing texture. Cheeses we had were very good. Wife liked the risotto very much, but it was a bit bland for my taste and I'm glad I didn't order it. Cocktails were very good. Overall impression was good. The place is packed very tightly with tables and you'll be sitting very close to other diners, so don't expect any privacy. We knew what to expect, price-wise, but thought the prices were still a bit high considering the portion sizes. We did not leave the place hungry, but maybe choose another destination if you're *really* hungry, or are semi-to-very wealthy. We might go back again sometime, but it's not really a "new favorite."
Our waiter was knowledgeable and professional. The food was beyond fantastic, creative and beautifully presented.
We had a long leisurely dinner with old friends from out of town. We have eaten at Tilth in the past and have never been diasappointed. We also like that it is a quiet restaurant where it is easy to converse. The food has always been superb but I have to say that this most recent visit was one of the finest meals I have had in Seattle. The four of us shared the Hors d’Oeuvre, Northwest artisan cheeses, Endive salad, mini duck burgers, pan roasted halibut and one desert of Rhubarb crisp. More than enough food and we all bonded over having the same meal. I don’t drink but my wife and friends shared two bottles of a German Pinot Noir Rose’ which they said was outstanding and paired well with our meal. Our server Melissa was informative, attentive, paitient and thorough. She intuitively paced our dinner in the somewhat slow manner we desired. The night was outstanding.
We got a baby sitter and went on a date night out. Food and service were just OK, for the price I was expecting much more. I left feeling very underwhelmed and wished I had made a different reservation.
The appropriate dress code of this restaurant is casual as is the appearance of the restaurant but the service is anything but casual. You wait in the entry for them to check your reservation at the opposite side of the house, the wait staff are very formal and efficient but friendly. The food was really good and the portion size is good. It's nice they give you the option of a half or a full serving for different budgets because it is on the pricey side. Overall we had a very enjoyable evening.
Such great food. I had forgotten how much I loved this place!
We had the grand tasting dinner. Excellent experience.
We've enjoyed Tilth over the years - innovative, locally sourced, organic, and classic cuisine and great selection of "tasting menus" - for regular eaters, vegetarians and for vegans.
The waiter suggested a return trip for dinner, which I may do. I had much higher hopes for Mother's Day Brunch, however, the execution left some things to be desired:
- Baked Eggs were VERY runny
- Smoked Salmon eggs Benedict was replaced with pork belly (and no explanation?!)
- Ran out of Orange Juice
I have read about this restaurant and it had been on my “go to” list for some time. It was Mother’s Day brunch so the option were limited. My friend and I each ordered different items. I thought I would share but everything I ordered was so outstanding that I couldn’t share. My friend felt the same way. The food was fresh, well seasoned and beautiful to look at. I’m anxious to come back and try the regular menu!!
Just perfect. Food, atmosphere, service.
Good, fresh, original, satisfying. Servings are not large, but they are just right to feel statisfied.
We tried the 5-course tasting menu & each dish was well-prepared and high quality but the pacing was so slow! After finishing each dish we waited about 20 minutes for the next one, and the whole meal took almost 2.5 hours. I can definitely enjoy a long leisurely meal but there was just not enough food and too much waiting for it to be very enjoyable. It wasn’t super busy either. Disappointing for a $250 meal. Maybe ordering from the ala carte menu would be a better way to go.
Great service and mostly good food though portions were inconsistent.
The service was very slow and inattentive. The food was not good enough to make up for it.
Staff is great. The food is fresh and creative without being overly complicated.
