   The cocktails are absolutely unforgettable—crafted with precision.The presentation was Spectacular. Think flaming garnishes, whimsical mugs, and theatrical reveals. Every drink felt like a mini-performance. As for the food, just wow. The menu is packed with island fare that’s rich, bold, and perfect for sharing. The Spam Musubi was one of the best I’ve ever had: crispy, savory, and addictive. Everything we ordered was vibrant, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The service was also top-notch. Friendly, attentive, and enthusiastic staff made the experience feel even more festive. They clearly love what they do and it shows. Whether you're a cocktail connoisseur, a foodie, or just looking for a fun night out with friends, Tiki Tatsu-Ya delivers. It's a little slice of paradise in the heart of Austin, and I can’t wait to go back.

   You really have a wonderful server. She was encouraging, cheerful, very helpful and attentive. We did not eat any of the dining options. This time with the neighboring table had some delicious looking dishes.

   Our first impression was not great as they made us wait outside for over 20 minutes when we had a reservation because our table wasn’t ready and they wouldn’t let us sit at the bar. Especially when they make a point on the reservation to say that we have a 5 minute grace period, and yet they can seat reservations 20 minutes late, that didn’t add up to a great experience. They gave the same spiel to all the other reservations that came after us. Perhaps don’t take as many reservations so you can seat people when they book? Food and service were good, but very expensive and quite gimmicky, probably won’t go back.

   First time visit. Date night without the kids. The ambiance was great and different. The food was amazing and complemented the creative drinks very well. The wait staff was very responsive and prompt, though respectful and gave us space to make decisions. Will definitely return.

   Food was great but the experience was underwhelming as a whole. Drinks were less than desirable. As a tiki bar/drink lover, I would not want to revisit this place.

   Even though we had a reservation we ended up waiting almost an hour for our table but the staff was amazing and and more than made up for the wait. The food was amazing as always, a fantastic experience was had

   Greay spot if you’re out with friends or looking for a group hang! They have great vibes, solid drink selection, and the ambience really hits. Just don’t come hungry. The food’s more of an afterthought its small nibbles at best. Pop in for drinks, then head elsewhere for a proper meal.

    Overall did not disappoint! Found this gem and made reservations before we arrived to the city. We needed to change the time and it was easy for us to adjust times. We were greeted by a nice gentleman (sorry can't remember his name but he was from Ojai originally) who made us feel right at home. Then we were enthusiastically greeted and cared for the rest of the evening by our server Gina. She brought the energy! We only tried the musubi and shrimp musubi but both were delicious. The chili sauce on the shrimp musubi was delightful and the cloche with the musubi added another flare.
