   Adorable little place we went for Valentine's day. The food was amazing. Had a grapefruit avocado endive salad to start, scallops topped with caviar and roasted red peppers not the plate too. Delicious. The people were delightful serving and attentive. Very small homey place, feels like you are in someone's home. It is a little bit of a fishbowl and the decorations are minimum but nicely done. Highly recommend.

   Cat created a wonderful experience in this small intimate venue. The food was fantastic. Would definitely come back and recommend to others

   Thyme is a small place but comfortable. We started with the asparagus/beet salad, very good. Lots of flavor and texture. We ordered the lamb chops and the red cabbage and sausage dish. Both were well prepared. The sausage and cabbage was excellent, full of flavor. The wine list is small but was also quite good. I would recommend Thyme and will be going back.

   Good food made with passion and care. Limited menu, and everything is fresh and seasonal. On the pricey side if I compare similar food in Palo Alto. A small place with one server for all tables.

   This is a very small, casual cafe which is a bit pretentious. There were only about 10 guests, yet it took an hour and a half for our entrees to be served. The meal(s) however, were delicious.

   It is a very small place and was very noisy, largely due to a threesome across the room who had shrieking and incessant laughs--really. They eventually quieted when a gentleman at the table next to us asked them politely to keep it down. It is still a noisy place (even without these folks), although the food was very good. Portions are smallish, unusual in this era but plenty for us. Rack of lamb was excellent. My wife enjoyed her sausage plate, although the grilled sausages were a bit charred. The owners are very nice and welcoming. I'd go back, but if he noise level doesn't diminish, it would be hard to keep visiting. Perhaps they could carpet the floor?

   Food could be described at best as comfort food. Everything was under-seasoned. The steak sandwich main was exactly the mushroom toast appetizer, except with the addition of under-seasoned steak, right down to the dull salad with green bell peppers. Green bell peppers shouldn't be served in a restaurant salad unless it's an Applebee's, and certainly not something with $32 entrees in downtown Palo Alto. Overall overpriced for what you get, and disappointing.

   We found Thyme by chance and are so glad we did. The food is excellent. The service is friendly and relaxed. Winston and Kat were attentive and added to the birthday celebration festivities. Highly recommend this little gem.
