   Closed For Remodeling! We had made reservations through OpenTable for lunch today at Thomas Restaurant on 39th Street in Westport near State Line. It is a minute 30 drive from our house to get there. But upon arrival, low & behold the front door sign read “Closed for Remodeling”!! There was NO indication of that on their web site OR on OpenTable. We were not happy. There also was no indication on the sign as to an expected re-open date. At least the management could post a notice on their web site that they are Closed for Remodeling, AND have been courteous enough to notify OpenTable not to accept reservations! We will probably try Thomas Restaurant once they re-open, but we will definitely call first before driving in vain. (At least Room 39 down the street was open and they have great food.)

   When I arrived for my birthday dinner with 9 people, the windows were covered over and there was a sign on the door that said "closed for remodeling". In the past, the food, ambiance, etc... has been really good. I went to their website before booking the table and it didn't say anything about being closed. That would have been helpful. We had to scramble to find somewhere else to go with kids in tow.

   Arrived for our July 9th 7pm reservation only to discover restaurant is closed for remodeling? We had made plans for lovely anniversary dinner. Restaurant does not respond to emails and voicemail mailbox is full and not taking any more messages. Would leave zero stars if I could.

   Made reservation on OpenTable, received verification of reservation via email, arrived at the restaurant Saturday evening and found it was "Closed for Remodeling". I hope this is not the dreaded "remodeling" that never ends and means the restaurant is going out of business. We have always enjoyed dining here. Nonetheless, while we were parked at the restaurant we saw at least four other parties arrive at the door of the restaurant only to see the closed sign and leave. OpenTable should have been notified by the restaurant that reservations were not being honored.

   Reservation made via OpenTable. When we arrived at the restaurant it was closed for renovations. I would have expected that reservations would have been disabled for the duration of the renovations.

   We made reservations for dinner at 6:00 tonight. When we arrived, a sign on the door said it was closed for remodeling. How did we even get to place a reservation? So disappointing! We drove an hour to get there and had to find somewhere else to eat. Pretty frustrating!

   I made reservations on Open Table, I received confirmation, and arrived at the appropriate time. The windows were papered over, the door was locked and a sign said "Closed for Remodeling".

   Went there for our Anniversary. Pan Seared Scallops for appetizer were excellent. Duck Breast was very good as was the spring salad. My wife had the mussels and a Ceasar salad, both of which were very good. We had a bottle of wine - all of their wines were reasonably priced.

   Our server was great! Food was good but not spectacular. Nice atmosphere.

    Hoseth was an awesome server we have never had bad service. The food is always consistent in perfect the only thing that I would not recommend is the steak but we have had everything else on the menu and never been disappointed The drinks are creative delicious and strong
