Went to Cinépolis for a movie and walked over here for our dinner reservation! This location is a great place for a date night because there’s so many activities to do around Glade Parks. We sat outside on the patio under the fans (yes, in the summer Texas heat because I love the warmth), and Isaiah was our server. We were the only ones sitting outside so it was quiet. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a spring menu because I didn’t see it online before hand. This isn’t my first time at Thirsty Lion and we aim to get something different every time. I ordered the Blood Orange Cosmo and my bf got the Pecan Porter. We loved both of our drinks. From the spring menu, we got the wagyu and prosciutto burger. From the regular menu, we got the carnitas salad bowl. Both were huge portions and tasted fantastic. It didn’t take too long for our food to come out, but the drinks too a bit. I won’t fault them on the drinks because we did come on a Saturday night and the bar was packed. Thirsty Lion has such a diverse menu with unique twists on classics, and you can’t go wrong with anything you pick. We love coming here since it’s not too far from home and it’s got a lovely ambiance. This place is kid friendly and drinking friendly.

There were plenty of options and all of the food was very tasty. We ordered a bottle of sparkling for brunch and it was served at room temperature in an ice bucket; extremely disappointing for a bottle price. We did order a second bottle and it came out cold.

The service provided by our server, Cassidy, was outstanding. I marked down the service area on the survey because the bar and kitchen did not pay attention to Cassidy's order. We ordered bacon Bloody Mary's, but received a regular Bloody Mary, so sent it back. I ordered an egg benedict dish, with the caveat that I needed the eggs cooked to medium; I actually advised Cassidy that I could not eat runny yolks (health issues which I didn't disclose). I received 2 very runny poached eggs, so had to send it back. We love Thirsty Lion and will continue to frequent in the hope that these issues were just a blip in what is usually topnotch service.

Took my wife here for Mother's Day. They had a Prix Fixe menu for the occasion. My wife enjoyed the salmon special and I had the ribeye. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium as ordered but was less tender than other times I had ordered this cut of meat at other locations. The grilled asparagus we both received were cooked perfectly and tender. The garlic pasta I had with my steak was delicious. Overall, this is a very lively place with a huge bar and TV's everywhere. It's not necessarily a romantic place but the food and overall atmosphere was excellent. We will be returning when it's not a holiday to sample their regular menu, which is quite extensive, with many delicious-sounding offerings.

It was amazing! We had the best waitress ever! Tania was sweet and had excellent recommendations to everything. She was very nice when we asked for ranch and had a smile the entire time. Now the food! That was just delicious, best sushi I've ever had! I got the carnitas salad and omg it was just so good. It tastes fresh, the flavors complimented each other amazingly. We also had the BBQ white cheddar burger, such a nice sweet honey bbg that went great with the fries. Great portions as well! 12/10 experience. Will definitely go again.
