                                                                                                  This was our second meal at Jockey (first was a family brunch). Both times the food was excellent as was the service. The atmosphere and ambiance is very comfortable. The bar was crowded and lively watching the Kentucky Derby. Restrooms were spotless. For dinner, we had the pork chop and mussels. They were both very good, nicely prepared and presented. Carrot cake and cheese cake were both delicious. We look forward to returning to this comfortable spot.

                                                                                                  We had a great time as we dined during the Kentucky Derby. The restaurant was full, but the service didn't suffer. Loved the atmosphere. The seating was very comfortable and the decor was like a private club. Most people were there to watch the race. My husband enjoyed his mint julip, and we shared lamb and spinach egg roles, which were very good and perfectly crisp. Our friends had crab dip and mussel marinara for their appetizer. After that, we kept it light with jockey burgers. The menu is not extensive, but everyone enjoyed mains, too. We noticed that the bar area continued the party afterward, as we were leaving. We will go back.

We were a little dressy, but most everyone else was casually dressed. The service was outstanding! And the ambiance was lovely. It reminded me of the Devon Horse Show. The food was amazing. We had the hot artichoke and crab meat dip, I ate the blackened salmon with chipotle mayo, my husband had the short rib au poivre, and we shared a Bailey's ice cream sundae. Our waiter was attentive and lovely. A touch too air conditioned, but that was our only complaint.

                                                                                                  Second time to Jockey Tavern and brought friends because my first time was fantastic! Second time was not the charm, service & food lacking. We had a young waitress that didn't check in on us often, the 3 different salads were all lacking, in particular one friend asked what greens base was on the one she was choosing and waitress said field greens when in fact it was all arugula. So I was disappointed and embarrassed by a not so good experience this time. Because I've been raving all around town about The Jockey Tavern.

Enjoyed our meal very much and server kept us on schedule, as we were headed to a play at local theatre right after dinner. TY for the great service. We'll be back!

                                                                                                  Cool new spot. Felt really upscale even if we ordered the French Dip which melted in your mouth. Great drinks in beautiful stemware. Great service. Only drawback was they never accounted for the noise in the building design so it is hard to talk at least in the dining area immediately to the right of the entrance.
