The Yurt Café is a Social Enterprise run by The Royal Foundation of St Katharine (Charity 223849). We aim to create a space, which is engaging, fun, and welcoming to people from all walks of life and are guided by an Ethos of taking care of people. We care about how we communicate and include everyone. We care that our food is nutritional, freshly cooked on site, and as allergen and dietary aware as we are able. Note: we do source some of our cakes and pastries from a local baker. We care for our staff, paying London Living Wage, and support them as strongly as we can. We care to keep our menu affordable and have price-protected items. We care about recycling and being as sustainable as possible.

This place needs update open table. 😡 Reservations where at 5:30, they close at 5. So no dinner for us that night, not a place nearby before our event at the Roxy. Gate closed when we arrived. So mad. OpenTable allowed us to reserve for 6 people and hen place closed. Neighborhood is sketch too, not good.

I have eaten at the Yurt cafe during the daytime a number of times. We booked a table for 7.30 so we could enjoy the live music and food. arrived just before 7.30 having made the effort to get a cab over from Primrose Hill with friends. There was no food left!!! We stated and had drinks and crisps. We were so despondent - hungry!

I had a table booked for 5 pm on Saturday via Open Table at The Yurt Cafe. When I arrived I was told food has stopped by then but I could have drinks. I said could he tell me where to eat. He showed me a map for restaurants which would be quite a walk. I started to walk but gave up in the end and returned back to my accommodation. I told reception the next morning and she said the staff should tell customers that there is a restaurant very, very near to The Yurt Cafe that would have served me food. She could also see my point that you’d think food wouldn’t stop before 5 pm on a Saturday. I was sent a few reminders by Open Table. If a booked table is for drinks only it should be made clear. I have never experienced this sort of thing before.

Went on a Thursday when they had a live music event. Place is super cute with awesome ambience! Highly recommended

A quirky place, with a great feel, yummy food and drink, and lovely staff! Great acoustic music, would’ve loved to stay, but had other plans! Highly recommend 😁!

Cannot recommend enough! A quiet place where you can sit outside in these troubled times and they brough out a special cake for my friends birthday which was amazing!! Really friendly staff too and just can't say enough positive things!
