   My partner and I always have an amazing experience at The Woodhouse. This time we were celebrating our 3rd Anniversary. Three years ago, my partner asked me to be his at the Woodhouse over a lovely cocktail. It was very special for us to return and celebrate this with another incredible experience. The brisket skewers were mouth melting and delicious, the steak was perfectly cooked and the sides accompanied very well. I should also mention the amazing bar staff, each time we come, they are able to make my favourite cocktail which is off menu! Our waitress had a lovely, calm nature and also gave us time and space. She was very soft spoken and this only added to the soft ambiance. My partner and I have now decided to make this a regular 2 monthly date night visit. We could not have asked for a better time. Thank you.

   Great food, great atmosphere, great pricing, overall it is a very good experience for special occasions or just a date night, cannot recommend the woodhouse more! The menu is fresh and up to date, the wine list is spectacular aswell as the rest of the drinks menu. The staff are exceptionally professional and all come across as very friendly and not uptight like some high end restaurants. The woodhouse is a gem in the centre of Victoria

   Steven the Somm was fabulous and Erin from Canada was an exceptional waitstaff. Definitely try the oysters and apple tarte tatin.

   An amazing place to dine, staff are attentive without being intrusive. They go the extra to make your experience incredible. This is our third visit to Woodhouse ( as we live interstate), and again everything was to an extremely high standard!

   The duck parfait and the beef tartare were totally delicious. The steak was fantastic! I wasn’t a huge fan of the caramelised onion potatoes - but that’s just my taste. I would’ve preferred them without the onion or truffle oil. The service in the bar (and the cocktails) was good, the service in the restaurant, also very good, however the woman who is the ‘greeter’ at the entrance was condescending and dismissive when our table wasn’t ready for our 7.45pm booking - which I have to say is much later than we would usually eat, but we didn’t book until the day before and took what we could get. Needless to say we expected our table to be ready and when it wasn’t, didn’t expect attitude. That aside, would definitely recommend.

   The Woodhouse is nice. The food is pretty good and service is excellent. Their staff make us feel enjoyable and VIP.

   If you are in Bendigo I highly recommend The Woodhouse. The food and service was outstanding. Steak cooked perfectly and wine recommendation on point. Thankyou for a wonderful meal.
