The food was terrific, wine suggestion was delicious and service was great. The noise level was low enough to hear all the people at our table speak without raising our voices. The owner was a fabulous host, checking on us and making us feel welcome. We will be back.
Service is so critical in a dining experience and it was sorely lacking to non existent... Hopefully this was a one night experience but even with an acceptable serving experience I would rate the restaurant only OK and not recommend it to friends.
The Winemakers Table is a very elegant and special restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is attentive. Jessica is a wonderful host. This was our 5th visit to The Winemakers Table. We are looking forward to our 6th!
First visit for us on a midweek impulse. Small, nicely decorated, very welcoming restaurant on Congress in Delray Beach. We were welcomed by name, and Henry took great care of us. We enjoyed very nice wines - not high-end/high-priced, but very nice off-the-beaten-path wines that accompanied our meals well. We arrived late, but it was no problem. Dinners were excellently prepared and imaginative. We especially liked the duck appetizers. The entrees (one duck, the other fish) were very nicely prepared and presented. We were so late, we took a dessert to go and it (the chocolate mousse with raspberries) was also very nice. The restaurant has some monthly featured events, and we hope to attend some and return soon. Well worth a visit! The owner (Jessica) even took time to chat with us and thank us for coming. Very welcoming place and a nice dining experience.
Phenomenal food and wine best place in Delray beach Florida highly recommended from a foodie
Another amazing experience at The Winemakers Table. Henry is amazing as usual and this hidden gem is a must visit.
Excellent food, excellent service from Henry. Jessica the owner/pastry chef was charming.Wine choice was delicious. Will definitely go back!!
This was the culinary surprise of the year! We were treated like royalty and the food was truly exceptional. A little off the beaten path, which actually is perfect if you’re tired of dealing with the crowds on Atlantic ave. Can’t recommend them highly enough!
The proprietors are very accommodating. The food outstanding. A lovely restaurant for a special occasion. The restaurant's ambiance was very european. I believe the experience is worth your time.
Terrific Food and Service.
Jessica is a wonderful owner, that cares about her customers
Henry is incredible when it comes to wines.
This is a Great find
A hidden gem! Don’t judge the outside as when you walk in you will be Transformed into a Beautiful elegant restaurant with delicious food and outstanding service!
This was by far the best hidden gem we have found. From the ambiance to the service to the food. What a great experience. We will now be long time customers. They all make you feel at home and are attentive to every need. Really cannot say enough about the entire team.
Earlier this week, I took my 100-year-old mother and her aide out for a belated Mother's Day dinner at The Winemakers Table. What a spectacular space and meal. It feels more like a European salon, with its high ceilings and hand-painted mural, than a restaurant in South Florida. Jessica, the owner, who was born in Ecuador and owned a pastry shop in Switzerland for many years, was in the restaurant that night, and the restaurant and cuisine reflects her sophisticated, cosmopolitan aesthetic.
We ate our way through much of the menu: cold lemon grass coconut soup and polenta cakes topped with lamb confit for appetizers; seared salmon, Magret duck breast and half chicken for entrees; extravagant chocolate stack and Tiramisu for dessert. Each dish was hand-crafted and superb, as was the service, which was elegant and slow-paced as befitting such a special meal. I eat in many restaurants, not only in Florida and Sonoma County where I live, but also in France and Italy where I travel a good deal, and The Winemakers Table was not only easily the best meal I've had in South Florida in the past decade, it was the equal to many meals I've enjoyed recently in Provence and Rome. The night we dined was "free corkage" night and Henrry, the sommelier, was gracious and knowledgeable.
Hurry to The Winemakers Table if you're looking for a unique and enjoyable dining experience in the Delray Beach/Boca Raton area. Absolutely unique and the sort of restaurant that reminds you exactly what Fine Dining means.
Excellent dinner and fantastic service
A lovely a hidden gem
We celebrated a Birthday and everything was delicious. The service was wonderful , the ambiance beautiful and the overall experience outstanding! We look forward to returning soon.
Beautiful place. Awesome staff and service. Amazing food. Could be the perfect place to dine in all of South County. On par with Abe&Louies/Capital Grille price wise. Overall an awesome dining experience. Going back this weekend.
Deserves another visit to form a real opinion - i think they were short staffed and had a private party on the day we had dinner there
An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. We were five couples, and had a beautiful, private room for our end of season and birthday celebration. The food, surroundings, and service were all top notch. Thank you so much Jessica, Henri, and all. Can’t wait to go again!
We arrived at 7:00 on a weekend night. I was the first to arrive and the only one in the restaurant.
When we left there were 4 or 5 other tables.
The complimentary crostini’s were very good. The wine we ordered was very good. My main course was ok.
The other couple shared two main courses and enjoyed both.
Wonderfully prepared meals , excellent service, and a reasonably priced wine list.
Our experience was simply delightful! From the extensive and varied wine selection with offerings at every price point, through starters, entrees and dessert there is something for everyone and each food group is respectfully represented. The duck was expertly executed and the best duck in Florida. This was served as a cassoulet and was almost a deconstructed version, all the key ingredients but light and fresh and packed with flavor. The salmon was also perfect served with shrimp and lentils and the Panna Cotta was light, fresh and finished beautifully with crisp candied lemon peel.
There's a (owner), Henry (mgr/wine steward) and Gaetano (server) we're fantastic, warm and welcoming. The experience could not have been better!
Make your reservations sooner rather than later!
This was an incredible night from start to finish! Their location is a bit odd but quaint and located very close to where my girlfriend and I live. We started the evening with some eggplant tapenade. Then my girlfriend had a glass of Pinot Noir while I opted for the Pinot Grigio. I had the roasted chicken corn chowder which was creamy and fresh. My girlfriend had the Panzanella salad which she inhaled. I chose the delicious, crisp Pinot Grigio to pair with the pan roasted chicken with white sweet potato gnocchi and root vegetables which was phenomenal! My girlfriend went with the Pinot Noir to pair with the Ribeye with mashed potatoes and spring vegetables. The owner, Jessica, came over to our table to introduce herself and her family and really made us feel at home. The ambience at The Winemaker’s Table is reminiscent of elegant, quiet dining that I haven’t seen much of in the last 20 years. A great date night, with exceptional food and wine, and reasonable pricing.
Excellent food and wonderful atmosphere. A true gem!! The owner is warm and welcoming and the staff is knowledgeable. A wonderful experience overall!
We had a wonderful light supper. Cheese plate, a beautiful salad and chocolate cake. Had a wonderful glass of wine. The staff were excellent. The ambiance was beautiful. Definitely hidden gem.
A hidden gem. Impeccable service. Delicious food with beautiful presentation. Owner came to introduce herself . Great evening.
Wonderful food preparation and presentation. The staff and owner were most hospitable. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Delray.
Lovely, intimate, fine dining.
Great local fine. Owner, Jessica, and servers were excellent. Food well prepared and displayed. Not on the usual drags in Delray Beach so parking is not a problem and people can talk at dinner. Nice wine list. Very nice décor. We were so pleasantly surprised that we're booked there again for next week.
Wonderful creative flavors. Definitely a cut above. Very friendly and warm service/attention.
FANTASTIC PLACE!!! The waiters were very friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely marvelous! You dont want to miss this place
Service was terrible did not receive appetizers till 55minutes after ordering, waiters and front desk seemed like they could not be bothered. Food was marginal at best and limited menu.
We went to this quite little resultant for Valentines Day and overall we really enjoyed our experience. The service and kitchen were a little slow and we were there for some time. But the waiters and staff were super accommodating and understood things were taking a while. The food was absolutely fantastic and cooked perfectly.
Arrives at 7:50 and was seated immediately. Very and comfortable feel. Orders wine and meal around 8:20. Wine should up after a short wait, out sommelier was amazing. Our meal arrived at 9:15. I have never waited that long for a meal, however the wait was worth it. The meals exploded with flavor and made the wait seem non existent.
My girlfriend and I were very excited to check this place out. I will start off by saying, that this was one of the worst dining experience I have ever had in my life! We had reservations for 8pm, came early and we were seated promptly, which was the only good thing that happened all evening. We waited 15 mins before anyone came to speak to us. There was a lady standing behind us and we were not sure what her job was but I kid you not she did absolutely nothing but stand there the entire time we were there and did not help at all. I made eye contact with here numerous times and each time she looked away. It was very strange! So waiting for 15 mins we had to ask for a wine menu and I asked one of our 4 waiters which pinot noir he recommended and he did not explain anything but pointed to one without asking what we preferred in wine. I am no wine snob but if your restaurant is called the winemakers table I think I deserve a nice explanation of the wines. So now we are getting a little antsy and asked another waiter to help us with the wine selection. He was better but was very abrupt. He did do a decent job explaining the wine. So we get our wine and now it's 8:30. Reservations were at 8 and we never got menus. So around 8:30 another waiter asks us what we want to eat. We told him no one gave us menus. The place is very small and it was not full by no means. Finally placed our orders as soon as we got menus, waited until 9:10pm and no food came out. We did not even get any appetizers! I politely told the waiter that I had enough and we corked our bottle of wine and left. Can't say it enough, but this was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!
Cozy, beautiful ambience. Service excellent. Went with friend and had a wonderful time. Food was delicious. Owner came to the table, she is beautiful and warm and can tell she took pride and love into opening up this restaurant. Just fantastic
As you walk through the door of what appears to be a commercial/industrial location, you are transported to an elegant dining room and greeted by a charming host. The French and Russian crystal chandeliers set the tone, but this establishment is in no way stuffy or snobby. You settle in to a very comfortable ambiance and enjoy wonderful service from an attentive, but not intrusive staff. The best part is the food - plated and served beautifully, seasoned perfectly, and cooked precisely as ordered. The complimentary 'starter' set our expectations high for the meal and we were not disappointed. Appetizers, entrées, and dessert were all excellent. I selected The Winemakers Table for a special occasion, but I will not wait for another special event before going back. I can't wait to try more of their wonderful food.
We have been regulars for over a year now.
New owner has a ways to go to bring it up to the level of the previous owner.
Wine list is small. Winemakers table without the wine.
Food was ok. Menu is stale and needs to evolve and change.
Slow slow service.
Would I recommend......doubtful unless the owner makes some changes.
I know the value of my restaurant. We have great food, fresh, every thing is made from scratch. Our Menu is small because I want it to be very well executed, and we change it every 6 weeks. For desserts, I use imported products from Switzerland and Italy. It is strange, a lot of people have told me desserts are great! It is so funny, how your palate can not find the difference between fresh and freeze food? from scratch and home made? If you are comparing me with the previous owner!
It was an absolutely wonderful dinner... don’t miss this restaurant you will not be disappointed
