We have been there several times. We have been towards the back at a taller table and towards the front with a short table. Both are good places to dine. The staff are friendly / helpful and the food is good. I usually get the scallops & risotto or the shrimp & grits and we usually get the cheese tray with a bottle of wine. All are good.

Great food as always. The Baquette always a good starter. Salmon appretizers, smoked on premise always nice light way to go. The Hanger steaks were perfectly grilled to proper temperature, my wife's Scallops with Primvera Risotto was a very nice plate that I kept poaching from.

Very happy with the open table restaurant week event at the Wine House — our review is based upon that dinner. Would have gotten a 5-star review if the food was just slightly better — for example, my soup wasn’t really very hot. The restaurant was quite popular for the event, every table was full, so the waitstaff was working hard but not losing their cool.

Nice wine selection, delicious food, and friendly and efficient staff. I’ve never seen the Wine House this busy so we had a short wait until a table was available. Staff was attentive and kept us informed of progress to get us seated while we enjoyed a glass at the bar.

We took advantage of Restaurant Week to have lunch at the Wine House. What a treat! The food was superb - we had the mussels and the chop salad with hanger steak. Perfection! The smoked salmon and asparagus soup appetizers were wonderful and dessert yummy. We'll be back for sure.

Big Red Flight Night. Selection was great. They were very busy when we came in so our food came before our flight. Waitress was great. Said they were low on glassware. Disappointed Kevin didn't come by our table to discuss flights since he did the tables near to us, but it was very busy.

Unfortunately, we do not offer cocktails, and haven't since our opening 15 years. Our apologies on your disappointment. We do hope you return for one of our weekly wine events like Wednesday Flight Night or our free wine tasting on Saturdays. Cheers!

The Wine House is one of our favorites. We came for Mussels Monday and enjoyed a lamb lollipop appetizer before our mussels and French fries. It was a busy night when we were there which felt festive and fun. We sat at the bar and had great interaction with the bartender and a good vantage point to see everything going on with other diners at tables. Always an enjoyable experience.

We were happily surprised by our first experience at The Wine House! It’s a small venue but cozy with good energy. The staff is super friendly and the food was outstanding. Such a great find fairly close to home. Would definitely go again and again. While the menu has a lot of seafood options - more than I’d like since I don’t eat it- there are other options as well for the non seafood eaters. Definitely recommend the mushroom risotto and the short ribs. We will go back to try some of the other options!
