   Not high class but not a dive either. Nice, light hearted atmosphere. Wear a suit or cutoffs, doesn't matter.

   Limited food menu (check before you go). Wine was really good! Ask for the menu of half price bottles.

   Went to the Wine and Oyster for a preprandial snack. Ambiance is industrial chic and could get noisy when the restaurant is full. There was music the evening we were there and it easily drowned out our conversation. Nine varieties of oyster were available from both east and west coasts, but no Gulf oysters, We tried 6 of the nine available. All were very fresh, properly schucked with no shell fragments and served with a mignionette, fresh grated horseradish and cocktail sauce on the side. Wine selection is relatively extensive for a small restaurant and there were several choices that would have paired well with oysters. We chose a Gavi di Gavi that was very good and reasonably priced. A menu item we didn't try was cioppino, but looked interesting enough to ask for a taste of the cioppino broth, which the restaurant accomodated. The broth was delicious and close to what you would find in San Francisco. Definitely going back to try it with a red selection from the wine list.

   Interesting wine and seafood and charcuterie menu. No warm food, and limited choices. Many wine selections were sold out from the limited menu. Nice concept looking for a kitchen and improvements.

   We went here to enjoy raw oysters and wine, and we did just that. They certainly have a great selection of oysters (about 10 varieties from all over the east coast of North America when we visited) and their other menu options (raw scallops, raw salmon) were delicious. Service was attentive and prompt...we didn't have to sit with empty wine glasses. At the time we went, they had a 2-person band, which was fun to listen to and watch. The atmosphere is comfy and relaxed, not pretentious as you would expect for a wine bar. Overall, great place to relax, have a glass of wine and some fresh seafood bites.

   The wine and oyster bar is an awesome experience. We are locals and it's nice to go and be treated as family by the owners instead of being just another number. Thanks Steve! We look forward to the next time!

    Awesome seafood platter. Fresh oysters and seafood. Wine list was excellent. I can't wait for the live music to return.
