   Waked in staff were welcoming friendly and informative ordered drinks confirmed our booking for food and obtained some darts which we paid £3 as a charitable donation then had a friendly game for a hour or so before sitting down to have our food good solid pub food not huge portions but well prepared and tasty . Considering where the pub is situated very reasonably priced overall a very nice experience would recommend lots of different real ales and ciders to chose from lovely old style British pub give it a try you won’t be disappointed

   Despite being held up by train delays, our table was kept and we were warmly welcomed on arrival. Some of the food choices were not available, but there was still a good range of items that were.

   A very nice pub with a nice atmosphere. Good food and good bar service with helpful and friendly staff. Most importantly a good pint of Guiness.

   Perfect pit stop pub for a late Sunday afternoon after a visit to Spitalfields, whether a tourist or local . The staff were friendly and welcoming, with many choices for my friends for on tap lager. bitter, beer. The food options were very favourable and even as a vegetarian their vegan Sunday Roast was very flavoursome. Great value too. It's nice it has been kept traditional in style , not just another bistro or chain pub either. Definitely recommend

    Nice Sunday roast and a little separate area for a group of 8 us. Staff so friendly, great atmosphere!
