This was the best dining experience I have ever had! We were lucky enough to try the Chef tasting menu, the food was delicious and the chef came out to talk to us. It felt like the staff truly cared about our dining experience. Would highly recommend a visit!

Food was fantastic, server was fantastic, ease of getting to and from the view was very good. The price for amount of food is always a challenge with these types of places.

Best meal in Calgary. Food was top notch, as was the service, and same goes for the decor. Well on their way to a Michelin star.

We did the Chef's Menu. It was a bit fancier than I prefer, and I'd rather have a few things that I can dig into and enjoy; but it delivered what one should expect from a Chef's Menu. Lots of variety with many small interesting items. It added up to plenty of food and everything was tasty. The server told us it would be at least two hours and it was closer to three. We were not in a hurry so not a problem. The service was very professional. The bar list is good - I always appreciate it when a bar stocks at least one good rum, because so many do not. The Wylde had three.

Missed opportunity on the service side. We felt like we weren’t taken seriously, possibly because I was wearing a backwards hat. There was no warm greeting and we constantly had to flag down our server to order anything. Our bill was $264 and we watched 3 other tables come for cocktails and receive much quicker service. We arrived at 8:35, ordered at 9:00 (would have ordered sooner if our server actually came around) and we didn’t get our entree until 10 pm, which by then we lost our appetite. We tipped 15% but honestly the server didn’t deserve it. He was a nice enough guy but either wasnt organized or dismissed us. He realized we were frustrated and then explained “the cook overcooked your steak so we made it from scratch to ensure high standards” yet there was no communication and didn’t even comp us a cocktail on our bill. Then when we were leaving and asked our food to be boxed he said “yes let me get my assistant”… really? You have an assistant? Where have they been all night? I honestly feel gross for tipping such mediocre service at such a “high class” place. Also the patio could really use some ambience. It looks like a 25 year old’s balcony for their apartment. We won’t be back.

I personally found it very noisy to have a conversation .The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and well spoken . We ordered the mushroom risotto and bison. I found the risotto flavorful but the rice grains weren't evenly cooked so every bite wasn't enjoyable.. Same with the vegetables that came with the bison. Turnips and potatoes were so raw that I had to put them aside The bison was perfectly cooked. Also I had mentioned it was my friend's birthday dinner but even though they brought out a candle to the next table , nothing was offered here . I let it go because they seemed really busy . It is definitely worth trying.

Dined for Mother’s Day brunch. It was $150 per person, $50 for kids. Had very high expectations going in, but would say the food was just ok. We went around 1pm. The charcuterie board was near empty, the prime rib was good, and appreciated the single servings of oysters, smoked salmon, small crab claw and shrimp as part of the buffet. There was a menu with about 5 items that you had to order from your server. A couple Bennie’s, lobster hash, Japanese pancakes and a small bacon and egg type breakfast. These were small plates and really just ok. The server was telling us that the lobster hash had a full tail on it. We ordered 2, each had half a tail on it. Overall, the food experience was disappointing for the price we paid.

Hotel cafeteria vibes. Very expensive for what is being offered. If you are looking to splurge for a celebration or an elegant evening, this is not the place. The mussels made the table sick. The server was good, so not rating it a 1/5.
