We went for a late lunch after a long hike. Plenty of room, not too noise, ambiance comfortable and pleasant looking out into the garden. Not crowded. Very attentive service. Food was solidly good, not fantastic. Some interesting things on the menu esp seafood (Moreton Bay Bugs, Caviar blinis etc which looked great but so expensive we didn't order them). Flathead served 'butterfly' so bones to navigate. Suckling pig was tasty not amazing. Bread v nice from local bakery, sides were fine not amazing. We asked for mineral water this was service in a no brand 'house' bottle so we assumed a per head water payment for the meal but were charged for several rapidly poured bottles which was a bit annoying (this is a pet peeve of mine!) . This restaurant takes itself seriously with proper service and is a good option for a family meal esp with oldies who will enjoy the peaceful ambiance. The team works hard so I want to support this restaurant. Though it's a bit stuck between being a v fancy v more casual but good eatery - ie not quite one or the other.

Food, service and the view of the garden in the afternoon. The baked encased snapper turned out to be excellent value. Not just the theatre of getting it released from the salt/eggwhite cement using hammer and chisel (!) but it was three large size meals. Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Each and every person in our group was raving about our lunch at Bells, we absolutely loved it! The location and atmosphere is very cozy elegant, we could have stayed all day because we felt so comfortable and were so well looked after. The service is impeccable and so is the food. There was not one thing on the table that anyone of us didn't enjoy. Thank you for everything!

Lovely restaurant, we've been before, drinks were a little on the slow side - half the table received theirs and then the other half had to wait for theirs. Kids food was supposed to come out with our mains, but came out when starters came out, but overall a great experience.

A most enjoyable way to spend a Sunday afternoon. The food selection was fabulous. There were dishes to satisfy any taste and I was very happy with my choices - so tasty and beautifully presented. There was a good wine selection and the service was excellent. I will definitely return and it is an excellent venue for a special occasion.
