The Whitman–an all-new restaurant concept by Bal Harbour Shops, designed exclusively for the Bal Harbour Shops Access Pop-up. The Whitman name draws inspiration from The Whitman by The Sea– a luxury Miami Beach hotel owned by the Whitman family in the 1940s.
The Whitman brings the iconic dining experience of Bal Harbour Shops to life through its breezy indoor-outdoor space. Evoking a decadent lifestyle of leisure, the palm-framed courtyard retains the idyllic al fresco environment of the Shops. The food was so good! The watermelon gazpacho was the best I’ve ever had. The ceviche - delicious! Our waiter was so attentive. The atmosphere was great. Overall great experience!!!

Fine dining at the Outlet Mall but they are only here until August 10! We loved everything we had, starting with watermelon gazpacho and beet salad then short rib and truffle mushroom gnocchi. Service and presentation were excellent and we were highly impressed with the patio dining. Planning to return soon.

Food and service was excellent, akin to fine dining. The wait staff was attentive, helpful, & conversational. The experience was exceptional and I hope to go again before the pop-up installation leaves.

Absolutely wonderful. Everything was delicious. Ali, Aria, Lewis were outstanding. Plan on returning many times while the pop up is in Asheville.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday with High Tea. Our server was very attentive and the food was outstanding! The atmosphere inside does not have the feel of something very high end. But we were looking for great food and something different and it delivered.
