   Due to change of plans we stumbled across this pub whilst searching for somewhere to eat. It was delicious, enjoyed the shared fish platter starter, followed by two of the specials, Seabass on crushed potatoes and Salmon Supreme on rice with green beans and a lovely sauce. Too full for desserts.

   Excellent service, beautiful food. We have eaten here several times now, mostly to take my elderly step mum out to dinner. She lives in Bury St Edmunds. On this occasion it was her 89th birthday. This is a lovely pub and the food is really first class, however the portion sizes are ENORMOUS and she and I and one sister in law were rather put off by the heaped plates, knowing we would, could, never eat it all. Can I suggest you offer smaller portions for smaller appetites at a slightly reduced cost? Still. We had a great meal.
