The food was excellent. The salmon mango dish and the elk tenderloin were delicious. Citrus crème brûlée was also very good. It is a casual relaxed atmosphere.

Setting is fine, and food selection was decent. We liked our meals, but had a hard time justifying the price. We’ve eaten at lots of other places in Jackson with the same or better quality food, but much more reasonable prices.

The best restaurant in the valley. Although the menu is small, the food is always well-prepared, the drinks exactly as requested, the service attentive and polite, the ambience warm and welcoming, the prices reasonable, and the noise level at a nice level so one can converse easily without having to raise voice. The tables are nicely spaced and the carpeting and ceiling treatment helps keep the noise down, even when the restaurant is totally full!

I had an excellent old fashioned followed by the market salad and rainbow trout. What an amazing dinner. The preparation was creative and pleasing to both the eye and the palate. Absolutely will return again and highly recommend The Whistling Grizzly.

What a wonderful meal! The food was delicious and so creative. Appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert were all so good. Hats off to the chefs!
