Pub was recommended for Sunday roast. Enjoyed service, ambience, seating, but food was hit and miss. Yorkshire pud and roast spuds were so hard so did not eat. Veggies were great and very tasty. Beef was just ok. I might be tempted to try eating here one more time as it might have been an off day. Shame as it was my birthday lunch with elderly mum who was paying!

Valentine’s Day was perfect! It is our local pub and we come most Sundays. The food is sensational and the staff always so friendly and knowledgeable. We love this place!

Great food and service as usual. Dog-friendly if that is useful to anybody. We've been several times now and it has always been fab. On this occasion, we were a big group but the quality didn't falter. Highly recommended!

Booked on the day and there was an issue with their online reservation system. They were very accommodating and found space for us quickly. The Sunday lunch was very tasty and there was plenty of it.

Nice food and pleasant venue. Table we had was poor as the lights from the service counter were very bright so one of the guests at the table could only be seen in silhouette. Our waiter did not bring much joy to the evening - I don't think he wanted to be there but he was efficient. Overall, a nice evening.

We went to the Whippet for staff Christmas lunch. Great place to eat, lovely ambience and really good service. Highly recommended, especially if you live locally.
