The Wheel focuses on American cuisine brimming with locally sourced ingredients in an industrial chic, waterfront setting.

Drawing on fresh ingredients from over 40 local farmers, fishermen and purveyors, the restaurant features the best of what’s in season with an ever-changing menu plus produce grown and harvested right from The Village’s rooftop garden. At the center of its open kitchen lies a hearth oven used to roast meats, fish and vegetables, as well as to bake Neapolitan-style pizzas.

The location is gorgeous. The food was a huge disappointment. The waitress was very young and had attitude. The food I ordered was not as described. I asked if it was hot but it arrived lukewarm on a bed of stale tortilla chips. Not a tortilla as described in the menu.

Service was ok-waiter didn’t even ask if we wanted a drink and it was a bit slow Matter D told us we’d lose out table even thought we had a reservation if the other couple didn’t show writhing fifteen minutes. How rude. Not impressed at all

Vibrant atmosphere. They Need more servers though. Our food was dropped off by a runner and we never saw our server until it was time gir the check. No opportunity to say the burger ordered medium, was at best raw inside.

I had a business meal here, and honestly, calling it a disappointment doesn't do it justice. The server was terrible, repeatedly forgetting our table. It took over 20 minutes just to get our drinks, and placing our food order took even longer. Eventually, the manager had to step in to take our order. Our food took over an hour to arrive, only after we requested to speak with the manager. Although the manager comped a round of drinks for the poor service, the entire 2.5-hour experience was not worth the time or money.

Definitely a beautiful restaurant excellent decor. Outside patio was really nice. Bruch was amazing my favorite drink was the 5' O'clock somewhere. I definitely will be back.

Kitchen and service terrific. 8:30pm music selections were great but the noise level was so high the elements felt more competitive than complementary.

Love the location and been there many times before. But this time was not so good. Slow service, food put out on the table while we were watching fireworks. Food was cold and a big bug got stuck in my wife’s pizza. Burger was cold and undercooked. They really seemed understaffed for the crowd. But will still go back again hoping this was just a bad night. Update…. They contacted me directly and are addressing my issues. Not necessary, but nice to see they pay attention and care about their customers. We will be back again.
