The service was excellent, the ambiance youthful (which means a little loud for my taste). Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. We won't be back until the menu changes
Food and cocktails were amazing.
Best place in Stamford. Love the brunch menu and the dessert menu. I recommend the ice cream. Chocolate is delicious.
Great food and ambiance.
This was our first time coming here. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Also, the kids menu was varied enough where both my kids were happy. We will definitely be coming back!
The food was okay, but the service was very slow. I would recommend going on a weekday as the weekends get busy at night.
Amazing dinner and Staff!
Very professional and courteous.
Will 100% return
Such a great spot. The restaurant had such a fun and chic design and our server Katheryne was the best and made us feel so special! We will 100% come back again.
Igloos are so beautiful inside and we had an excellent meal. Magical place and our server was so lovely.
Reserved the Igloo experience with my family for my birthday. Loved the Igloo itself but it was cold inside. I would think you would heat the Igloo before we got there or get a better heater inside. The heater was small and didn't do a great job considering you had to take into account the waiters etc coming in and out. Did love the food everything came out delicious and we had no complaints there.
Would go back but I think they have to fix some of the heating issues especially if I am spending $25 a head to reserve it.
Food was amazing. Santi was a fabulous waiter. Great way to ring in the New Year!
Not sure what happened but there was a huge, noticeable decline in the food. I was with a party of 4 and we ordered the same items as a previous dining experience but super disappointed. The eggplant parm was horrible. It seemed to have been old and reheated and the sauce was heavily peppered...should have sent it back. The burger was overcooked and the brick chicken sauce was super oily. Perhaps the regular chef was off for holiday week? I hope so because my first dinner was delicious.
Very nice. Service was great
Familu outing. Fantastic service. My daughter did not like her main dish and we were not charged. Highly recommend.
My mother and I dined at The Wheel for Christmas Eve and could not have been happier. The food was incredible, as was the service and ambiance. Im already planning next visit
The Wheel's ambience and vibe was the best part of the dinner. As it's a restaurant, my hope is always that ambience is a close second as I hope the food would be first.
Decor is modern with trendy lounge vibes.
The food leaves a bit lacking. I was excited to see crispy salmon as an appetizer but was pretty quickly let down by the taste and texture of the dish. The brick chicken was good, the sauces on the plate made the dish though. It was billed at gluten free but is stated that it's brined in Cisco beer so it's a bit questionable if it's actually GF. My fiance had the cauliflower steak and it was OK but underseasoned and lacking the char needed to make the dish really successful. We also ordered a side of brussel sprouts that were VERY undercooked and borderline inedible. Overall, would go back for drinks at the bar or on the patio but not the food.
Great ambiance and wonderful menu. The food was amazing. The staff was warm and accommodating.
Great addition to the Harbor Point dining scene. Menu is diverse and interesting. Love the igloo dining option, just wish the extra cost was not so steep.
Had an amazing experience! Loved the intimacy of the igloo, but still had amazing service. I can’t wait to come back.
I celebrated my 40th birthday
We had Sunday brunch. Excellent
Ambiance and drinks were great. However, the food was underwhelming. Service was worse.
We had a 9:15 reservation and felt rushed. Right after placing our drink order, a restaurant employee came to our table to ask if we were ready to place our entire food order as the kitchen was going to close. I don’t know if he thought he was being helpful, but it came off as abrupt and rude especially since he wasn’t our waiter. Guests probably shouldn’t be allowed to make a reservation within an hour of closing if the staff will prevent them from enjoying their dining experience.
Did not care for crispy rice salmon.
Waiter didn’t notice it went uneaten….
Great burger, fries, skirt steak.
Staff is really giving their best.
We had brunch in an Igloo. Sadly, not worth the cost. With the exception of the cheese fondue (which was good once it warmed up), the food was remarkably bad. Arrived cold and overcooked. And the heater did not give off enough heat to make the atmosphere enjoyable.
While the manager tried to make it right by removing the $50 additional fee for two people that didn’t come due to Covid exposure, I am not satisfied and would not recommend.
5 friends sat outside in the igloo and we had such an amazing time. Thank you to the staff for the great service!
The Wheel is such a welcome addition to our area - a fun but upscale option with great cocktails and really delicious food.
We reserved an igloo and unfortunately were delayed for over an hour (not good.) BUT, the restaurant did what they could to compensate - comped apps while at the bar, etc. In the end, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Absolutely loved this restaurant!! The food and ambiance was incredible! Highly recommend!
Really enjoyed our brunch, the restaurant is beautiful and the food was great unfortunately the service was really slow. Will go back soon as it’s a great place
It was our first visit to the Wheel. Overall it was fine, a bit on the pricey side, but the portions are huge, so 2 could easily split an entree.
Personable and attentive server, food was good but not inspiring, music was very loud - not recommended if dinner conversation is on the menu. Great location in this seemingly recently gentrified and heavily populated neighborhood, so expect it to be busy with nearby walk-ins. Would recommend with caveats.
Ate in an igloo and it was absolutely awesome!! The food was fantastic, the server was awesome. We had such a blast - especially with the cheese fondue and then chocolate fondue for dessert. Such a great experience! Highly recommend.
Service terrible. Had to get up twice to find someone
Extremely noisy, we didn’t get service to come to our table for 15 minutes and appetizers didn’t come for another 40 minutes. Waitress did not charge us for the appetizer, but the delay and noise level made for an unpleasant evening. The food though was very good.
Excellent food and great service. Plus we love Emma!
The Wheel is a lovely restaurant. The food and service are both excellent. The environment is warm, inviting and fun. The live music was a plus and the outside igloos look amazing. Huge thanks to the Hostess.
Food was amazing- as usual. We had the swordfish and the eggplant- which is enough for 4 people and so delicious!
This place is a must try!
Service was great - extremely attentive - didn’t wait for cocktails and food came out quickly. No Specials the day we went- menu is small. Live music was a plus. Also has a good bar vibe!
The igloos were such a fun experience. They are super cozy and great winter vibes, But this was more of a one time experience. It was very pricey, it's $25 per person just to sit down, and the food is pretty expensive as well. I definitely recommend reserving an igloo with friends or family at some point this winter season, but be prepared to pay a decent amount!
We loved everything! Service was outstanding, the food was superb and just a beautiful setting for a Holiday brunch. Looking forward to returning again when we are back in Stamford.
Had a lovely experience dining with friends. Great atmosphere, tasty food, and yummy drinks.
