The staff was amazing. And the food so so good!! My only suggestion would be to be to tell people not to stuff the delicious focaccia in their mouths so they have room for the amazing last plate!

We booked for nye. Received two confirmation emails and re confirmed. We arrived on time and at that stage all other places in Newcastle booked out and The Well was closed and deserted. So disappointed - is this open table issue or the well or both.? The won’t recommend is for both. Open table asked me to review so reviewing here with this feedback.

We also booked for NYE, received confirmation email and found it deserted. Very bad form for an important night.

Dinner was very nice, staff were lovely. Didn't end up seated in the Well, they didn't open that night, so were in the Atrium. We had booked the Well in case it was cool or raining, however the Atrium was quite nice. Very low lounges, lol. Service was quick & friendly. May go again, if something interesting is on there. Not as big as I thought from pictures
