As always the Waterfront did not disappoint. The food, drinks and service was amazing.
Brussel sprouts were amazing!! Evening special with fish (grouper) was great!!
We have never had a bad experience at The Waterfront. Wait staff are excellent ... knowledgeable and efficient. Food is always outstanding. Prices are reasonable. Two of us had the tuna entree the last time and it was delicious.
I think they changed their recipe for their bread 🥖 I remember it being more crusty in the past this time is was very doughy !
But the meal and service was great 👍
Had a very enjoyable experience at the restaurant. Had a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes of the reservation time. Food and service were very good, as were the staff. Although I felt the prices were somewhat expensive. For instance a 16 oz. steak for $39.00 was a bit pricy. But overall we had a pleasant dining experience and will come back again.
This is our fourth visit. On this visit as well as another, the host experience was abrasive. A young blond woman was arguing with a server about a table and the host was quite loud and negative. We never see a manager, no one does table touches and we are never thanked for our business on the way out. We ordered a $14 beet salad that had three beet slices on it!!?? (Beets are .69 a pound retail!)
I had the grouper, overcooked, 7 green beans and a half cup of non-descript mashed potatoes for $33!!?? What!?
A 20 minute wait between salad and entree. Wondering why we would return. This restaurant lacks leadership,
management and attention to detail.
First time to The Waterfront. Would definitely go back and get the tuna steak again. Everything was great from service to food!
The food was excellent and Nick was exceptional as our server! We will definitely return for dinner.
Consistently the best restaurant on AMI. Everything is 5-star all the way through. I try something new each time and always walk away satisfied. The grouper tacos are an outstanding app. Service is always friendly. This is certainly our favorite date night spot on the island.
Wonderful meal.
Amazing restaurant! The best on Anna Maria Island! Everything was so delicious we went back the next day! Book a dinner reservation ahead of time if vacationing here it draws large crowds and hard to get a reservation if it’s a week out. The maple mustard salmon and kale Brussel sprouts salad makes my mouth water thinking about it sing with their maple Brussel sprout sides to die for. Salmon blackened is delicious as well and their Mac ‘n cheese wow! We want to try everything here, it’s leagues above others on the island.
good food, nice menu service, beer selection, and view
Had special , black grouper over pasta with puttanesca sauce . Was delicious , awesome piece of fish . Sat outside , view of skyway bridge was spectacular.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner with friends and family. Outstanding service! Food was great!
Excellent food and friendly staff. Amazing desserts!
Their food and service is always great and we dine there every year when we visit Anna Maria Island
Very enjoyable dinner at The Waterfront. We were seated earlier than our reservation. Excellent service. Quest Fundido (sp) was great as was the calamari and the Wagyu burger. Prices were okay for an island restaurant. We’d go back!
This is one of my favorite places to eat and the food is wonderful. This is the only time we have encountered a problem in all the times we have gone there. I booked a reservation 2 weeks out, upon arriving we were early the hostess confirmed our 745 reservation was on time. At 815 we were seated at a table on the porch. This was not acceptable as it was cold, and rainy and our reservation was for inside. We seated ourselves at the bar and received wonderful service from the bartenders. Ten minutes later which would be about 830 the hostess informed us our table was ready. We chose to remain at the bar. If not for the bartenders service and great food I would not return.
Many wonderful additions of new items on their menu!
Dinner came out way too fast. We were still eating our salads.
Party of 9 seated 20
Wonderful first dinner on our vacation week. Salmon, tuna and fruit de mare were excellent.
Great tuna, good Guinness, great service, price reasonable, comfortable seating, view of the bay
Overall good food and atmisphere
We have had dinner at this restaurant many times. Something was wrong last night. We sat for an hour before our food was served. The hostess was cleaning tables. The waitress tried her best to reassure us food was coming but you could not help but notice there was definitely something going on in the kitchen
We have been to the Waterfront many times and always enjoy the experience. This time they had a problem with having the wine that we ordered not being chilled so we had to wait about 20 minutes while they chilled it. The food was slower in coming than usual but as good as usual.
A+, very enjoyable, great food and service.
Sat inside, next to windows that were open to the front porch, so it felt like you were outside, very nice. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Food was very good! Make a reservation, fortunately we were here for 3 weeks because we couldn’t get a table for 2 weeks.
Fantastic Restaurant! 9 in our party & all felt was best restaurant on our vacation in Anna Maria. The calamari & lobster bisque were a great start. We enjoyed the cocktails & the Smoked Margarita is a must! Best entrees were the Frutti Di Mare & the Shrimp Alfredo (special that night). The mushroom risotto was also delicious!
Excellent food and friendly service. Bridgette was our server and was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. She was right...one of the best Mai Tais this side of Hawaii.
Our initial impression was not a good one. There was apparently a mixup as to which server had our table. We finally had to ask for a server. Then our server forgot about us again. So it took about 35-40 minutes just to get our drinks. After that, our server was very attentive and recovered well. Our meals were very good, and an accommodation was made to our bill for the initial inconvenience. Service snafus do happen from time to time, so I would still recommend the Waterfront and return myself, based on the quality of the food, the ambiance and how well they handled recovery from our initial service issue.
Our server Joe was great! Attention, timely, and informative with suggestions.
Thanks
We had a 7p reservation and when we arrived our table was ready but there was a long wait for those without a reservation. We waited about 15mins before we had to ask who was handling our table, as we didn't even have water at that point. Finally our server arrived and she was very nice and friendly. We ordered drinks from the bar as well as an appetizer - fried green tomatoes were awesome! The drinks took a long time to come from the bar but the appetizer came out relatively quickly after the slow start. We checked our watches at one point (as there was a long delay again between the appetizer and meals) and it was already about 8.15p and we hadn't received our meal (we hadn't taken a long time to place our order since we had plenty of time to decide while waiting for our server). There was no ordering a second drink even in that long wait - first because our server never came to ask if we wanted another and secondly because we knew how long the first one took we figured it would arrive after the meals were finished. We finally got our meals - scallops were excellent and perfectly cooked. The grouper cakes as well were full of grouper and nicely prepared. The meal as a whole (without dessert) took 2 hours. This could probably explain the long wait to get a table (for those without a reservation)! I don't like to be rushed at dinner but this was a bit excessive on the other side. I would come back but if the service doesn't improve I'm not sure I would continue to try, even if the food is worth the trip.
First time eating here and wondered why he hadn’t been here sooner by first bite. Our server was excellent in telling about the menus and specials. Everything was delicious
Great restaurant all around. Can be noisy if it's really busy, but food and service are outstanding.
Great food and service
Great service!!
Grouper was dry
Bouillabaisse had undercooked potatoes
Key lime pie was tasteless
Delicious filet. Cooked to perfection
But, not un its after the construction on Gulf of Mexico drive.
It took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there from the middle of LBK.
