It was our first time at the Warmack and we loved it. The food and drink were delicious, the ambiance was cool, and our server was great. Looking forward to going back.
The challenges of finding late night dining was resolved with our choosing the Warmack. We were able to make reservations for 11pm (late arrival flight). We did not want simple fast food nor finger food or pizza. Rather, we wanted a dining experience with the hopes of packing in some dancing before retiring to our hotel. Afterall, we were only to be in Charlotte for the weekend -- thus, our desire to pack-in as much in 48 hours as possible! By starting with the Warmack, we checked-off two birds with one visit. The food offerings were awesome (Asian fusion), as was the house music piping through the speakers. The clientele all were cosmopolitan chic. The wait staff and front of house staff were all on point and very helpful and engaging.
Will start by saying that food was pretty good , well presented and visually appealing. The place itself is nicely setup and decorated to a modern yet casual style. The bit of a miss was in service. Though people were mostly friendly, it felt like the restaurant had just opened last week even though its been months. First miss was we had a 7:45 reservation and got there by 7:51 and they had sat somebody so we had to sit at the bar. They did apologize and said it was a mistake. At the bar we sat next to a couple that had left but their dirty dishware sat right next to us for about 15 minutes. Eventually got cleaned up but not after I mentioned it. There were 2 bartenders, one was handling mostly drinks and the other food but they were not well coordinated. We ordered food and it was about 10 minutes after that we got to put our drink order. Drinks were good though though they can probably use less tequila, vodka type drinks and do more asian type drinks. I saw only one drink that had Sake on it. The food also came out pretty fast even with the restaurant mostly full at the time. Would visit again despite needing fine-tuning with service.
We were delighted and surprised by our wonderful Asian-inspired dinner. Perfect for sharing are the wonton tacos, gyoza, bao buns and edame. The pork belly bowl was outstanding! We requested a table outside and liked having lots of room out there. We'll be back!
Great food! Underrated Clt dining experience! Clt seems to prefer more generic options, this food was authentic and delicious! Highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our late night out dining and drinking at Warmack. Restaurant turned to lounge vibe with electronic music. Great spot for cocktails and dancing after dinner!
Awful. Just don’t go. Waitress asked for drink order. Never wrote it down. Came back TWICE to clarify them. We left cause once they came they were awful. Went to aging Tree instead. More money but totally worth it. This place SUCKED. Was empty on a Friday at 630p. That says a lot.
We went for a date night and the food was excellent. Restaurant wasn’t overcrowded and service was very attentive.
We shared a bunch of apps which were all really good. Very attentive service.
Food was OK. Wouldn’t run back
Very good food, especially the noodle dishes. Edamame was very good, too. My tuna dish with avocado and rice was good, would have been better served warm, IMO. Our server, James, was excellent as was the ambience. Cool place. Would return. Wish they had more options on the menu.
Excellent, authentic Asian Fusion. Great, attentive service in a cool setting. So many choices, so we’ll be back to try it all.
Atmosphere and vibe is very cool. The waitstaff and employees were very attentive and the food came out quickly. We sat outside and it is a great space with a private feel ( we also chose to sit outside bc we thought the music was too loud for the brunch hour!) We ordered from the brunch menu and although french fries weren't listed, they accommodated our request and brought us some and they were great! Also delicious was the tuna appetizer!! We all ordered the Mega Mary ( the reason we came to The Warmack!) and it was good. I gave the food only 4 stars because the beef jerky was inedible, very very tough and the bloody mary had a smokey flavor instead of a spicy flavor ( but this could just be a preference thing). A nice addition would be to include some sort of dipping sauce for the shrimp and pork bar bun, like aioli, that accompany the Mega Mary:-) I will most definitely be returning!!
Food was good, but portion size was small considering price, location and parking situation. Probably wouldn’t come back as there’s other places in Charlotte offering similar food with better overall experience. Drinks were good though.
Great new place!
Absolutely great food and drinks. Service was superb and we really enjoyed the experience
Loved our server James, he was helpful and really made our dining experience extra special !
Food is incredible and we really enjoyed the WARtermelon Sake cocktails!
First time trying this new neighborhood spot. We really enjoyed our server. The food was good but the portions were really big. So great value but we didn’t need so much food. Weren’t many people there; I hope it sticks around! Would love to see more light dishes too!
We normally love the food and drinks at Warmack. The dumplings and warmack style wings are an absolute must. This visit we chose to go with vegetable dumplings, the salmon, and the pork belly bowl. We also ordered a few drinks off of the menu. The dumplings and Wargarita were both as great as always. The other drinks were extremely liquor heavy and lacking in good taste. We did not finish our last round as it just was awful. The salmon and pork belly were bland, but edible. The experience was surprising, and hopefully just a one off. The four other times we’ve been have been amazing, but this trip was not worth the over $100 we spent.
Ambiance & the food was good!
We wanted to try a new place for dinner that we have not been to before and unfortunately we will probably not go back. The menu is one page, with half of it dedicated to cocktails. However, there was no beer or wine list and for wine, I was told I could choose between red, white or rose. No brand names for wine and the pour was below average (very small for the price). The food was nothing special. I got their salmon entree with rice and brussel sprouts and was not blown away for $26. The music was loud for our liking
The Warmack was great! We got the salmon and the beef tenderloin and we still can’t decide which was our favorite. All of the cocktails we had were delicious - the green apple one was amazing. Also, the curry bar buns were so so good.
Our server, James, was great and the assistant manager was on top of it as well. Will definitely go back.
Fabulous food and wonderful service and ambiance!
Excellent food with unique and bold flavors. The ambiance is cool.
Fish was over salted. It was just okay.
Our experience was Impeccable. Customer service was on point and not to mention how amazing the food was.
We enjoyed dining here! This was our first time and we loved everything about it. The cocktails were incredible, and the food paired nicely with it. We will be back! The decor and ambience were very cool and modern, loved it !
Our waitress did everything possible to make our dining experience a delight!
Already planning what to order on my next visit. Had the salmon bowl and the beef tenderloin bowl. Both were delicious and unique. Cocktails were outstanding. Every dish brought from the kitchen made my husband and I salivate!
The food is phenomenal! This is our favorite date night spot.
We really just weren’t impressed with the food. The salmon didn’t seem fresh, the seaweed salad was weird, and the brussel sprouts were too bitter.
Service was good though.
My husband and I invited friends for a last minute dinner to celebrate our birthdays.. We sat on their patio which is nicely vented and wasn't too hot. Their food was tasty and not too pricy. Service was alright but again understaffed but she was as attentive as she could be. All in all, would like to return.
I really appreciated the vegetarian options on the menu and it is a beautiful restaurant very romantic.
Had a great first experience dining at The Warmack. We ordered the Won Tacos, great flavor, crunchy shell, perfect app. Pork bao buns were also a great choice. The Yakisona and Gyudon both were good. I preferred the Gyudon. Tried the Warhorse mixed drink, very refreshing. Absolutely would go again and try more items on the menu
Service and food/drinks was immaculate. 10/10. Definitely recommend.
Food was okay and drinks were okay. Said they ran out of 3 of their cocktails while we were there. Food we could have made at home. Most likely would not go again. Service was slow.
Great new spot! Love the ambiance! Amazing food, service. The wings are amazing!! Patio is spacious!
We were probably the oldest people in the restaurant. The ambiance was amazing. Our server was very attentive and the food was awesome. A little loud--we ate at 8:45 pm but the music was interesting. We will definitely go back.
Terrific food and price
