Beautiful gardens and beautiful setting. We ate outside on their patio and it was lovely. The lamb shank was delicious and the coconut cream pie heavenly. My salmon was a little bland and at $42 felt a little overpriced. Our server was very nice quick and very attentive. Overall very nice experience. 🩷

Amelia’s garden dining room too quiet for dinner service. Food was salty overall. Sugary cocktails, not mixed well. Dessert was a disappointment. Needs a major renovation and upgrade.

People seem to make a big deal about this place. "Back in the day", I'm sure it was "the" place to go. Nowadays, the food quality is average at best, and frankly overpriced. There are better options. If you have a nostalgic interest in formal table settings and valences & curtains of "days gone by" then maybe you don't mind paying $40 for dry chicken. Breakfasts are similarly uninspiring. Unfortunately, this location did not meet even my limited standards.

Took my wife here for Mother’s Day and was a very nice Victorian style room. There was an adequate but not large variety of food. However everything that I tried was tasty and found the staff friendly! I would definitely go back.

Was very nice buffet service for New Years Brunch. They didn't skimp on the offerings and everything tasted really good. They accommodated our large family of 8 with no problem (we did make reservations). Beautifully decorated. The only thing I would say is that we were only offered coffee and water. Until we saw others with juice, we did have to ask for it for the kids.

We attended the Christmas dinner buffet. The food was excellent and the setting was great for the season. We booked a few days in advance so perhaps that was why only limited time slots were available and we chose 5:15. It was obviously a popular event as parking was very limited and when we entered the restaurant there was a long line up for service. In fact, we were not able to be seated right away as our table was blocked by the line up for service which went through the area where tables were located. It was a tight squeeze when people returned to their tables with their plates. I would say it took a good 15 to 20 minutes to serve ourselves. By the time we were getting ready to leave around 7:30, it seems many people had finished, there didn't appear to be many arriving and there was hardly any line up. The experience would not deter us from attending events like this in the future but it seems there is room for improvement in the reservation system and perhaps in the location of the buffet tables to smooth out the crowd size a bit better.

Very Nice Spot. Dining Room has an old time Farmhouse / Cottage like feel to it. It was busy on a Friday night approaching Christmas, so perhaps more noisy than normal. Food was very good with some uniquely cool features to choose from. Everything was very good, although I could not call anything exceptional. ....correction; the coconut cream pie is EXCEPTIONAL. While there is lots of parking, very little of it is in immediately close proximity. It was also on the expensive side, not to the point of regretting the experience, but certainly to the point of 2nd guessing how quickly we would go back. I wonder if we can buy the pie to go.

Waring House kitchen was backed up. 30 minutes between courses. Soup had a film on it. Main courses were over cooked. Ate proteins because we were hungry after waiting an hour. Vegetables were burnt. We didn't eat them. We settled check with a 10% discount. We didn't stay around for dessert course, even though we payed for it as part of the Countylicious event. No tip was provided, except a cash tip was provided to the waitress. It wasn't her fault that kitchen was backed up and the meal was a disaster. I won't recommend the Waring House restaurant.
