   It was closed even though we were able to make reservations. Once we got there we were made to wait a long time before confirming they were closed. Such a waste of time, need to get their act together.

   Went here Friday night for a friend’s birthday. I did think there was a horror movie theme based on a couple of photos I saw. However it’s not. Just a cool downtown club vibe. I was hoping for more atmosphere. The service was amazing! They were attentive and kind. The bartender was beautiful too ;) Low key vibe so we could hear actually each other! Enough space between parties that it felt private. Big plus :) They automatically added 20% gratuity- which is absolutely fine. That’s my standard amount. However when you scan the QR code to pay online, it defaults to add another 20%. Seems like they are slightly trying to take advantage of drunk people. Which I don’t love. Buttttt at least it’s all going to the servers. The drinks were delicious! Each one was well balanced and strong! Definitely worth trying a few. Price wise - comparable with most downtown spots (aka expensive). I probably won’t revisit mostly because the prices are steep. However it’s great for groups wanting a less crowded downtown bar with yummy drinks!

   Food needs a little quality control - shimp in my taco weren't peeled, but everything tasted great!! Hard to find but worth the adventure. Their taquila and wiskey game is strong!!

   New place, was perfect for a late dinner and grabbing drinks. Has a kitschy vibe, with horror-themed decor and skeleton stir sticks. It's a speakeasy, well-hidden and you almost feel like going somewhere that you're not allowed. Will definitely come back next time I'm in San Diego!
