With a focus on developing community through good food, The Wandering Goose offers Southern-style comfort fare. Breakfast and lunch is served daily, with a fried chicken dinner available on Friday evenings. Enjoy the likes of grits and grillades (pan-seared pork loin with spicy gravy and grits), veggie hash and granola to get your morning started. The Wandering Goose supplies stick-to-your ribs biscuit sandwiches, with fillings ranging from eggs and cheese to fried chicken and gravy to peanut butter and bananas. Plates are also served, including an oyster po' boy and a veggie plate with pimento mac and cheese, collard greens, Sea Island peas and a biscuit. Sides and salads round out the menu.Seasonal offerings and farm-to-table relationships are emphasized here. For instance, the cafe uses and sells honey from its own rooftop hives.
