   For lunch on Monday 28th April, we had the seafood dish with what tasted like a strange grain (not described on the menu) which turned out to be durum wheat semolina, a Sardinian pasta. The problem was that there was more of this semolina than the actual seafood, so it filled out the dish. Taste was not good, drowning what little there was of the seafood. The point is if I had known it was pasta, I would not have selected it as I don't tend to eat pasta dishes.

   Had a great Sunday roast at the Walmer Castle! Food was wonderful and our waiter Alex was a pleasure to have serving us. Very attentive and thoughtful! Highly recommend!

   The bar isn’t very varied in beer or cider choices but the food is incredible! The service was accurate and prompt, the food simply exquisite. We didn’t have time for dessert but we’ll definitely come back. Will 100% recommend.

   Average burger - not asked how we wanted it cooked and it was over cooked and that sort of compressed meat like a frozen burger. Steak as only average and also over cooked

   My mom and I came here not once but twice during our stay in London. Not only was the food delicious but our waiter Jorge was amazing. He was so personable, attentive, and incredibly kind, he made the our experiences at the Walmer so much better than anywhere else we had dined during our trip. We had a fantastic time and will miss this spot as we prepare to head home. This place and it’s staff are worth their weight in gold, and I hope everyone is able to experience the Walmer Castle magic at least once.

   Amazing food, good service and lovely atmosphere. It was a little too hot in terms of temperature but the food was absolutely delicious ! Would recommend

    We booked the Westbourne Room for a joint birthday celebration and it was great! A really lovely, cosy but fresh room with lots of space. The service was very attentive and patient with a large group. The food was lovely and we had a fantastic evening. The service we received via email in advance was also really helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend for a celebration. My only suggestion would be to have another vegetarian option on the menu. The only main available was a gnocchi, which was fine, but not particularly interesting. Thank you!
