   Food and ambience great as always. Service was below the usual standard, server seemed to go AWOL at times

   We love the Village Bakery but our one piece of feedback is they have been playing the same 70’s/Classic Vinyl playlist since the restaurant opened. As much as I like Led Zeppelin I’m not sure I need to be listening to Stairway to Heaven or Whole Lotta Love while enjoying my $26 glass of Chardonnay.

   Excellent food, terrific service, very quiet inside, love how we were taken care of. This is my favorite restaurant in the Bay Area!

   Wonderful dinner with exceptionally good service. Liked the artichoke and pizza that I ordered. Pretty dining room. Our guest from out of town said the restaurant was "very California," which she meant in a good way.

   Village Bakery and Cafe always delivers. The service is gracious and friendly without being overbearing. All our food was delicious- from the burger to the shakshouka. Cocktails and wine list are on point. I’m always happy to go back.

   My sister, grandson and I went for Easter brunch. Service was attentive and fast. Food was delicious and well presented, Food and beverage menus were perfect for brunch. Will definitely be back.

   It was Easter and it was busy. Ok. It is a lovely holiday that we planned to enjoy far in advance. We did not expect to be served two plates of eggs, sausage and potatoes that were cold. Nor did we anticipate that we had to order, after being served our cold entree, bread to eat with our breakfast. The bread consisted of two half pieces of one slice of bread for $4.00. Then we had to request jelly/jam for the bread as it was not provided with the bread. I also heard another guest in the room requesting jam for his bread. Second visit to the Ladies Room, I encountered the only sink full of water as it was unable to drain properly. The manager responded nicely when I pointed the problem out as I had to walk past him to return to my table.

   Took my 2 Daughters to celebrate their Birthdays'. Beautiful handwritten birthday cards were handed to them from our server. Great service and food including birthday cakes to boot!!!!

    The VB has become one of our favorites. We regularly dine here. We loved the back patio in the corner. It was cozy, quiet and warm. The food and service are alway impeccable.
