The Veranda Restaurant
The Veranda is a truly one of a kind restaurant. Reasonably, priced, classy, and the service is top notch. I fully recommend this restaurant to anyone and my personal tip: the chicken cordon blue sand which is so good it should be illegal.
Took out of town guests. They were impressed with the food and tour of the wedding venues. The servers were busy, but if they notice some one using a cane, they should seat them quickly, not leaving them standing for five or more minutes. Also, customers should turn their loud phone rings down, or better off. The phone at the next table kept ringing. So inconsiderate!
As always, we enjoyed our visit to the Veranda Restaurant. We not only had an amazing meal but the walk of the grounds is breathtaking as well. I had the Tri-Tip Burger and it was amazing. My wife had the Wellington Benedict and it too was mouth watering. We brought Mom here for the first time and she was simply amazed.
The Veranda Restaurant is a beautiful location in Fallbrook, at the Grand Tradition. The view is outstanding
and the menu offers quite a variety of choices. Since they all sounded delicious, it was hard to choose, but I
did, and enjoyed every morsel. Thank you for creating a beautiful venue with an incredible view to gaze upon, while enjoying a memorable meal.
This is a very special place! The food is delicious and unique and beautifully presented. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous!
I took my husband there for lunch-a rare treat for us. It was very nice and excellent food and service. He had not eaten there before and he was impressed with the food! (He is a bit of a skeptic!)
food was great - service was not. But the view is how the whole world should look!
I planned a Christmas lunch for myself and three friends. We had a lovely time and plan to make it a holiday tradition. Food, and especially ambiance is outstanding! Beautiful property, great food and service.
To be honest, I was expecting a higher quality of food. For the location, the necessity for reservation, the formal waiting/seating area, I felt that the food was subpar for the rest of the experience. Additionally, the very small seating area we were in took navigating narrowly between another groups table and a very large tree, which seemed awkward and for the disabled, potentially dangerous.
Food needs to be improved, menus is missing some fancy items and it should allow substitutions.
We were a little disappointed with the lack of decor for Christmas. We made our reservation in advance for the holiday season hoping the place would be decorated beautifully, but the place didn’t even look good for any time of year. The seasonal color plants were weak at the entrance and the hanging baskets at the veranda. Although, the food was good and the service seems to have improved. The one problem was our check was dropped before asking for our dessert order. It looked like the party next to us had more guests arrive and they wanted our table, so no offer for dessert which we were interested in. Our party also felt like we were not greeted with warmth and friendliness. No good morning just do you have reservation. Our guests commented on the lack of friendliness at our approach as if we were not wanted.
Fabulous location and wonderful food. Beautiful spot that we want to keep to ourselves!
Wonderful brunch. First time patrons who wanted to try a new place for small business Saturday. We had a great time and are already thinking of future occasions to celebrate with another great brunch. Thank you to Alexis & all the team for our outstanding service
Lovely in every way. Only negative note was the service was slow. We really did not mind😊 as the ambience was gentle and kind. Walking the gardens was a highlight.
Don't change a thing - it's PERFECT as is! My spinach and berry salad is especially what I come for. It's fantastic!
Very beautiful and peaceful place to eat . Staff very friendly and attentive.
We celebrated our second Anniversary, usually we have phenomenal service with great food. Unfortunately, there were new staff who had a difficult time keeping glasses full, and the chef undercooked the poached eggs to the point that they were slimy. When we showed the server he actually said “ewe” our loud. I’ve only given raving reviews, I mean we had our wedding here because of the service and food. We heard many patrons complaining, and a server asked one person why they hadn’t eaten much food. We will come back, but maybe not until our third anniversary.
Love this place ! Wonderful views! So peaceful and the food is delicious!!
My only complaint was that service, receiving our food, was super slow for a salad with salmon. The server was good, but it took too long to receive our food.
I have come to the Veranda several times and will continue to bring friends and family. It is a wonderful place great atmosphere, friendly staff and fabulous food.
The very best place to take someone special. Great for special occasions and celebrations.
We were so disappointed that you do to not have your Cobb salad on the weekends. The four of us were really looking forward to it. Also then we decided we would do the Ruben was told you took that off all together but you kept the bacon, lettuce tomato one. Anyone can make a bacon sandwich the
Ruben is different. We ended up with the hamburger without any seasoning and boring. We were all very disappointed in some decisions that your group is making. We also requested a steak knife to cut the hamburger in half and were informed that do not give you one since someone could get hurt. Come on I’m at a nice restaurant and I have to use a butter Knife
that tore up the bun.
Thank you for letting me give you the feedback
Absolutely love this place. Food is delicious. Gorgeous view. Great prices. Wonderful service. Definitely recommend it! No complaints!
Although it is 1 3/4 hour drive, I have been here for lunch several times and it is always lovely. It's a perfect spot to dine "with the girls." You actually dine on the veranda, and when the weather is on the cool side, they have outdoor heaters, so don't let the weather keep you from going there.
Great southern charm in Southern California. Large deep veranda seating outside in the back of the Beverly Mansion opens to a beautifully manicured park and lawn. Inside dining under the crystal chandeliers is elegant.
Lunch and brunch are served. No dinner service.
Dish portions are large.
Wait service is passable, but not befitting the high luxury surroundings.
brought out of town guests and they loved it! The food was outstanding and so fresh. Our salads were very generous portions and looked like art. Grounds are beautiful and restaurant is quiet. I have been here before and will continue to bring more friends, so that they may experience it.
Wonderful view of the grounds from the veranda. Very pleasant lunch with good food, good drinks & great staff. Will return.
Stazi was sensational. Acted like a friend making food recommendations . Was constantly making sure we had everything we needed. Could not have been a better dining experience
We had a delightful lunch at the Veranda. The food was exceptionally prepared and our servers were gracious and polite. The view was outstanding. This was a special occasion with my 91 year old mother and she could not have been happier with our choice. We will return again to the Veranda for another wonderful lunch.
WONDERFUL FOOD AND BEAUTIFUL VIEW. GARDEN TOUR IS A MUST AFTER BRUNCH
A very enjoyable brunch to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Only thing that was a little tough is talking with just 2 people at a table for 6. Our server was wonderful and the view cannot be beat. And the shade and fans made the 97 degree temp not an issue.
The food was fresh and well presented. Great service all around.
I had the Wellington Benedict and it was the best Benedict I have ever had. What threw it over the top was the puff pastry as the base. DELICIOUS
We always look forward to visiting The Veranda. We live out of the area so we only have a few opportunities each year. The food is always great, as is the service and the ambiance.
Was hoping to have Brunch when we went on a Friday at 11. Didn't realize they only serve brunch on sat/Sunday. So we had lunch items. My food was good I had the club panini. Husband's burger was a tad dry but he still enjoyed it. Service was on point.
Might want to consider a new dishwasher. More than half the glasses at our table had specs of food or lipstick on them from previous guests. Starting to make me worry since I’m having my wedding there in December. Also, the “prime rib” sandwich wasn’t fresh. We could easily tell that it was being reheated on a flat top grill. It was supposed to be a lunch date for my mom so she could get a taste of the food options before our wedding. But we should have stuck to your brunch/breakfast options. Other than those minor things, the service was great. And I’m still looking forward to our big day.
The food was fantastic! Of course, the view was lovely and we had a wonderful time there! We were all so happy that the prices are reasonable. That will make us go back again and again! The only reason it wasn't totally quiet was because there were two small children at the table next to us and their mother had a very loud voice! After they left, it was very pleasant!
We went to Veranda restaurant for our wedding anniversary brunch. We made a reservation almost a month in advance. It's a beautiful place in a paradise like setting .
The menu options are wonderful, a lot of choices for any taste. Food was very skillfully prepared, service was very friendly, helpful and efficient.
We already made another reservation for next month to go for brunch with a group of friends.
It was my birthday celebration with a group of 4 persons. Enjoyed our experience at this venue. Apparently it is an excellent venue for weddings and special "evening" occasions. I HIGHLY recommend this venue!
The Veranda is always consistently good. Reservations are required well in advance and they are worth the wait. We love introducing the Veranda to friends.
