Located in the original bank vault of the historic 555 California St building on the Concourse Level, The Vault Steakhouse offers indoor dining, a lounge and bar with an extensive cocktail, whiskey and wine program for a special occasion, business function, and date night - all in one place. Enjoy classics steakhouse cuts, creative and fun sides, tableside touches and more.

Chefs Ryan Cerizo & Jason Halverson have collaborated to take all of the things we love about Steakhouse dining and elevate it with simple, delicious, modern day touches.

We love eating here. It reminds us of old school dining. 2 of us had the Ribeye, 1 had the filet, 1 had the salmon and everyone said all the meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was also incredible. Thanks. We love eating here when we are in SF.

Only downside was the seemingly over energetic conversion about ones business trips and adolescents children.

Great experience. Sat at the bar, had a few cocktails. Ordered dinner and had a great glass wine. Great service, not pushy staff at all. Bartender was very nice. Steak was fabulous.

Food and service were a ten! Our server Dottie was amazing and both the food and cocktails were delicious. Do not skip dessert and their dessert cocktails - the Carajillo is my favorite. Definitely coming back.

I feel really bad I felt I shorted my waiter on the tip and this man went well and above the service required. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING THAT POTERHOUSE STEAK WAS A1 !!! MAC n CHEESE.

Great servers and staff. Excellent appetizers and cocktails. The NY steak we had was perfectly cooked yet very chewy and the worst steak we’ve ever had at a restaurant. Very disappointing.

The room is intimate and luxe. Service is very good. Dotty was our server. She was fabulous. The cocktails are creative and were excellent. We shared a table side prepared caesar salad. It was enough for the two of us and it was delicious. The gentleman who prepared it was quite good at his job. We were able to choose what we wanted in our salad. Love it! One of us had a NY steak and the other had the whole branzino. Both were high quality pieces of protein and they were prepared perfectly. We shared the broccoli, which was tasty, as well. Didn't have room for dessert, but they looked quite good. We live in the area and will definitely be back!
