   The service and the food was exceptional although we were rushed from the moment we sat down. So the experience was not enjoyable and definitely would not be recommending it if you were thinking about going there and spending the afternoon relaxing and enjoying yourself. I’m not sure about everybody else although when I get a bottle of wine, I really don’t want to be drinking it within an hour. I like to take my time. I like to saviour my food, so very disappointed.

   The food is amazing and so is the service... just the time waiting for the food to arrive can be frustrating.

   Excellent food. All the dishes were very complimentary and each had a distinctive and balanced flavour. The service was exceptional.

   My husband and I enjoyed an outstanding evening. We especially liked the share style menu accompanied by a huge selection of beverages. The service was through, and our host was super helpful with suggesting things to try, and boy did it deliver 20/10. If you haven’t been you’re missing out.

   Another amazing meal at the UB. Food was outstanding as always and lovely service from the team. The venue also looks stunning at this time of the year with the autumn leaves and beautiful lighting they use.

   Wonderful restaurant in the food and wine capital of Western Blue Mountains. Lovely ambience, attentive service and wonderful food served to share. Beautiful flavours and high quality ingredients. Not much choice on the dessert menu which was surprising, however after a lovely main meal no sweets were needed.

   Based on friends recommendations we were really looking forward to eating at Union Bank. It may have been the night we picked but it was such a disappointment. We waited 10 minutes in an outside line to be seated and then 20 minutes before anyone came to offer us water, a drink or take our order and only because we called the waitstaff to the table. I was surprised when our pate and turine arrived without bread or crackers as that was an extra $9 side order!!! I thought bread was standard with pâté. The final insult to our evening was when the bill arrived and the wine was overcharged by $20. When we pointed it out the waitress amended the bill with absolutely no apology for the mistake. We did however meet another two couples of really nice customers who we we bonded with because of our common experiences with the poor service. Needless to say it was not a great night and we will neither be returning nor recommending to others. Such a shame .
