   We had a lovely relaxed meal in a friendly pleasant atmosphere I did comment to my husband how happy the staff looked working together and the food was amazing , a bit of a drive god us but we wil definitely be returning

   Quite simply one of the best pub/restaurants around. Service terrific, always very friendly. Food very, very good - amazing value. Lunch menu is excellent especially the mini menu at £12. Highly recommended 👌 👍

   Lovely countryside pub, the staff are really friendly and attentive. We both had the Trio Sunday Roast with Cauliflower Cheese! It was beautiful, loved every bite!! Will definitely be back.

   This was my first visit to the Travellers Rest …… and it won’t be my last. It was only by chance that I found this restaurant whilst searching on Google maps for a new dining experience. The staff greeted us warmly and helped getting my friend’s wheelchair easily into the building. The service was friendly and prompt. The menu was clear and varied at sensible prices. The food was great ….. well-cooked and of generous portions. It was a real delight to eat there.

   We waited 50 minutes for food to be served whilst diners who arrived before us were served and finished their meals before ours arrived. My partner's beef Sunday lunch was virtually inedible. Poor service and very poor value for money. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

   Excellent service. Very friendly and helpful. Food was good, great choice. We both had special light bite lunch menu..tremendous value. Highly recommended

    Seated to our table upon arrival. Unfortunately 3 of the main dishes were sold out, 1 of them being Fish and Chips which my son (who is autistic) has all the time when we eat out. Big decisions!! He chose to have Sausage and chips in the end which he enjoyed. Service was a bit slow but the food was very good and the waitress was lovely
