The Sweet Spot

We went for Sunday brunch at 10:45. There were few guests at that time. You must mask to go thru the buffet line. The food was very tasteful although it could’ve been warmer. We will definitely go back for brunch and will try a nice evening dinner as well.

I would HIGHLY recommend for brunch. The service was excellent! There were lots of food options and everything we tried was good. Especially the Prime Rib. The drinks were amazing...mimosas, bloody mary's, and spiked iced coffee. Best Sunday Ever!

Server was very polite and attentive, all staff wore masks, dinner and dessert were both excellent.

This was our first time to Sweet Spot and we will definitely be be back. The service was great. The server was very friendly and our food was great. The steaks were very good and cooked perfectly. We did feel that the lobster tail was a bit overpriced, but everything else was good. Very happy with our experience.

They needed several more serving spoons and forks to be at every buffet dish! I thought it was weird having to use the same spoon or tongs on several items close to each other!

Second time here and not as good. Chicken piccata was excellent. There was only one server and he was swamped. Very pleasant but forgot several items as he had so many tables.

Service was great, and the Chef stopped at the table to chat and say hello, which was a nice touch.

We love the sweet spot. Chef is amazing and makes great fish!

Food was outstanding. Service was good a tiny bit slower than I would have preferred. Ambiance is good. Definitely recommend.

I have been here several times for dinner and a couple times for lunch. I haven’t had a bad meal yet...now they have a nice patio that actually isn’t in the parking lot or loud street....rare for a west side restaurant.... can’t wait to go back!

We enjoy going to this restaurant and there were 7 of us on this occasion. Most of the food was very good. The vegetables that came with a couple of steak plates were about room temp which is a little cool. They were out of one of the drinks we requested. We enjoy sitting on the bar side but those tables can only seat 4. With large groups, their seating is a little weird. It’s kind of like being put in a walk way. That being said we will go back.

Our first time "dining in" at any restaurant since the stay-at-home orders were given in March. Went to Mother's Day brunch and had a good meal.
The service was a bit slow but the brunch menu had a reasonable assortment of options and interesting selections. All items were VERY reasonably priced and a great value. Alhough it wasn't our best experience at this restaurant, it was respectable and we'll be back again when they get back into the swing of things again.

The food was spot on. My ribeye was cooked perfectly. I have never been a fan of calamari, but this is probably the best I’ve ever had. The mixed drinks were also very good. The service was second-to-none with the server we had. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. And finally, it is an excellent value compared to similar venues. For the money spent this is definitely a sweet spot in the market. Take the time to visit at least once and give it a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

The food was great. Waiter told us about the specials but he did not price them. Other than that the experience was fantastic

Ambience is good. The waitress didn’t get our rider right away. We have to wait for awhile. Overall we like the place and the foos is always excellent.

Finally made it over to the Sweet Spot after hearing great things. I was blown away from the moment I walked in the door. We started at the bar and tried a few different signature cocktails...strong and tasty! At dinner I had the Trio filet, which was so tender I could cut it with my butter knife. My husband had the fish special (flown in fresh 3 times a week) and he absolutely loved it. We had the sweet spot shrimp for an appetizer and we plan on returning just for that and happy hour drinks next week! Service was amazing, everyone was friendly and seemed happy to be there. The owner came over twice and made sure everything was good. So glad that west Wichita has a place of this caliber now!!!

From the appetizer to each drink to the entrees and dessert, everything was perfect! You really feel like you’re not in Kansas anymore at the Sweet Spot. Wonderful experience overall! Our server, Randi, was very attentive and the quality of the food is stupendous, it was my second time here and it is definitely becoming one of the sweetest spots in Wichita for me.

Chalk it up to a busy weekend, but it wasn't the best night. Our server was apologetic, and did all he could to make sure we were taken care of. My pre-dinner cocktail wasn't served with it's normal garnish, and too much ice (Godfather). Our appetizer was served almost as fast as ordered, and didn't have it's normal great flavor (SS Shrimp). My wife ordered the 6" filet, and it seemed smaller than that ... and served undercooked than ordered, which we sent back. The wait to get our main course was long (server came by twice apologizing), and we noticed two other tables who ordered after us were served first. My main dish (famous meatloaf) was good. I ordered a double Expresso after dinner which was very weak, more like watered down medium coffee. And our dessert (bread pudding) took awhile to receive, and when we did, was pretty mushy and served in a to go box.

We have been before, and will go back since we know what a great place this is. For someone experiencing for the first time however, they might not. Something we heard from the table close to us.

Valentines night we got a late reservation, around 9 pm. We were seated relatively promptly, and orders taken soon afterward. We proceeded to wait nearly an hour for our food, as they forgot to put it in. The waiter as well as a manager came and apologized as we watched other tables receive their food. The night was clearly winding down and most of the staff seemed focused on giving one of the wait staff a date night meal with his girlfriend as we still waited. To top it all off, nothing was comped or discounted, and we paid for every drink, appetizer, and meal. We typically love the Sweet Spot, but the service was some of the worst I have ever received at a restaurant.

Such a great place! Loved the look and the atmosphere was very friendly! Bartender was really good great value for their happy hour specials and so much to choose from! Had amazing desserts too! Will definitely be back again, west side’s best place by far!!

This place is amazing! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Not only is the food impeccable but the service and hospitality is top notch. The staff was so attentive and detail oriented, making it a truly one of a kind experience. It is an intimate restaurant, not overly crowded with tables. So if you want to have The Sweet Spot experience you need to make reservations well in advance. We will definitely be back soon!

We came in for date night last Wednesday and we were not disappointed. Our server was super friendly and very knowledgeable about their food and drink menu. We each ordered dirty martinis with blue cheese olives and they were perfect! On Wednesday they offer a 4 course meal for 2 people for only $55 which I thought was almost too good to be true but our experience was AMAZING! We both ordered the Shrimp Carbonara for our entrees. I am a seafood lover and I am very particular about my fish and shellfish. The carbonara blew me away! I can say it’s the best Shrimp Carbonara I’ve ever eaten. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and were HUGE! Our meal ended with their jalapeño creme brûlée which was absolutely delicious and two Espresso Martinis which one of the other guest recommended we try. The martinis were the perfect end to our already amazing night! I highly recommend this restaurant and we cannot wait to return this week!!

WOW! I've heard great things about this place but nothing to compare with the experience I just had! From the moment I walked in I could tell this place was special, the atmosphere, the decor and finishes all suggest fine dining but the at same time everyone was very casual and easy going. The service was the best I've seen in years, hostess asked about preferences and explained menu, the server was so knowledgeable about how all the food was prepared and made great suggestions. I tried the tomahawk pork chop that was a special item for the day, it was absolutely mouth watering!! Perfect sauce, perfect flavor, cooked to perfection. I cant wait to come back again, so many things on the menu I want to try!! So happy the west side has such a great place to go for a awesome night out!! And the server told us about brunch on Sundays, cant wait!

Absolutely loved the environment and the food was absolutely amazing. The staff were very nice and always checking up on us. There was also lots of different items to choose from definitely would come back.

We have been told numerous times how amazing The Sweet Spot is and we finally made it in! We were not disappointed! We were greeted right away by a very nice young lady. She showed us to our table and the server came over almost right away. Our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. She offered us drinks and appetizers and suggested her favorites. We decided to get the tuna tataki and calamari and it was fantastic. She told us about the specials and they all sounded great but we chose to get their Fish of the day and the filet. Both were very delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. She also brought out some yummy rolls. You can tell they make everything from scratch. We did not have room for dessert because we were so full but she told us to come back for the brunch and we plan to do so. We had such a fantastic time and cannot wait to go back and bring our friends!!

stood at the check in counter for 15 minutes before being acknowledged by the hostess, she came and went from the counter but would not greet us or even look at us. We had a reservation for 2 at 8 but didn’t get seated until about 8:20. Once we got our seat it took awhile for the server to greet us and take drink orders. We noticed other tables receiving bread but no offer was made from our server until we brought it up and he said bread was in the oven. We ordered our appetizer and that was fine but we started noticing that the food was taking a really long time. After several tables received their food, even though they arrived long after us, I asked the server what was going on and that was the first time he had checked on us or our food for over an hour. Well he discovered a mistake and apparently our food was never cooked. So we waited even more now to receive our food and when it came it was simply Subpar. For a 26$ entree you would expect awesome quality and quantity, and it was neither. Well they offered us a free dessert since we had been there for two hours but I don’t even think the dessert was what he said it was. You would think at such an expensive place a manager would’ve made there way to us but no Just a grocery store cake. Needless to say it was a complete disaster and will never return

Couldn't have asked for a nicer dining experience to celebrate a birthday. Food was very good, they even split a shared meal in the kitchen. We ordered a dessert and they brought a delicious cheese cake with a beautifull Happy Birthday decoration on it. The manager came around to all the tables to check on things, which is always nice. I've eating at Sweet Spot many times and have brought different people. I have never been disappointed. In fact, going back New Year's Eve to celebrate another friend's birthday.

The shrimp appetizer was terrific!! Everyone enjoyed their entrees. My salmon wasn’t warm even after sending it back. It is a favorite restaurant so must have been an off night. We had to ask for rolls.

Always have a good meal here. The french onion soup is our favorite and my meat loaf dinner was rich and tasty
