Tucked away in picturesque Iver is The Swan, a family-run restaurant and bars. This charming eatery can be found in a 16th century building however inside it has a contempory feel. Italian touches, Venetian masks nod to the family`s heritage and complement the authentic Italian dishes, while the historic building provides a perfect setting for the modern English dishes. Starters include scallop and chorizo skewers which can be followed by a delicious herb-crusted rack of lamb. The dessert menu offers fine Italian and English temptations. The Swan at Iver is perfectly situated for visitors looking to enjoy the lovely walks in the surrounding countryside, and the play area in the garden makes the restaurant a hit with children too. The Swan is also a great choice for small weddings, christenings and parties and the Christmas season is especially delightful. It`s easy to see why this Anglo-Italian family venture has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2006.

I've never felt so stressed or embarrassed at a meal so much in my life! Awful isn't the word. We went for a family meal with no warning when I booked & phoned that a band would be on We arrived ten minutes later we got our drinks as we started our starters the band started to set up & the staff started moving the tables away! We was left the only ones eating in the middle of the so called dance floor with the band tuning their instruments. Felt so embarrassed that my sons had to experience that .. We couldn't even hear each other's conversation. We was rushed through our meal. Final straw came when the general public started taking seats around the band.. So stressed & embarrassed we declined coffee & dessert. Spoke to the manager very unhelpful so we paid & left. ... Food was nice. Duck was to sweet.

Wanted somewhere for good Sunday lunch, and on 22nd November, met up with family not seen in a while, and was a perfect Sunday lunch with plenty of food

Service excellent food good quality the only problem is the meat is always cold with warm gravy I do prefer my meals hot restaurant was cold so wrap up I don't think they should charge a service charge its not 5 star there wasn't much variety on the dessert menu the coffee lovely

Was asked to come early, didn't have the same level of service they normally have. Really nice food. Best steak!

excellent food & service the only problem I found was when people kept coming through the restaurant for a private function instead of walking round & outside door kept opening where people were getting to the bar made restaurant cold will go again
