A restaurant that celebrates the splendour of British seafood and produce from local farms.

We are delighted to use the finest of local producers, farmers, and growers of the region. Seafood will always remain our focus. Oysters from Pinneys of Orford, fresh fish from Wightman based in Lowestoft, as well as meat from Salter & King in Aldeburgh, we are incredibly lucky to work with the best.

The staff were really well informed, incredibly friendly and made it a really pleasant experience! They were really accommodating with my lactose allergy too.

Atmosphere, service and food superb. Always a pleasant welcome at The Suffolk. the strawberry trifle was to die for and Drew was a legend as usual.

slightly late to seat us but the only reason I’m writing that is that, by the end of the night, that was drowned out by the exceptional food and lovely service I’m from London and this is up there with the best of them 12/10

I have eaten at the Suffolk many times and some dishes will always be there and are firm favourites for example the dressed crab.however tonight the new dish of a mackerel fillet on a bed of kimchi and nectarine was sensational. We got the last two! Please keep it on the menu. Service was up to it’s usual high standard.

Food, as usual was excellent.This visit felt very let down by the extremely slow sevice. Over an hour after for the starters to arrive ,after a long Waite to place order . Pity the ladies toilets are checked regularly 😏

We really enjoyed our experience at the Suffolk, the service was excellent and the food was tremendous; we shared the Brill option. The pricing was at the more expensive end of eating but well worth it for an occasion. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. A lively atmosphere pervaded for most of the evening.
