We had a great experience in The Study! Service and mixology from Ari was top-notch. Loved the literary-themed menu and the concoctions were delicious and fun. It was pretty quiet, but it's a cute little space that seats maybe 30 max. The only food we had were the complimentary nuts, but they were super tasty. 100% recommended!

We stayed at the Kimpton Santo Hotel this past weekend, and truly enjoyed The Study and Dean's Steak and Seafood. Thursday evening we were just going to look around, but met Hunter at Dean's bar and he took the time to give us a tour of the courtyard and the Study. He was so hospitable that we decided to have a drink and dessert at the bar, where Hunter and Victoria took great care of us until closing. The following night we meet up with a couple of friends, and started off the night with Ari wowing us with one of her specialty cocktails at the Study. All four of us ordered a filet at Dean's, where Florim took great care of us all throughout dinner. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Wonderful weekend and we will be back.

The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. The drinks were delicious. The food portions are incredibly small for the price.

We had an overall nice visit. The drinks were delicious. This may be the closest thing to a speakeasy here in San Antonio, but this is not a true speakeasy or an actual speakeasy vibe.

I was just looking for a nice cocktail with some friends and lite bites. Service was essentially non-existent. One person attending the bar. Never came back for second drinks. I don't even know why this place exists. Overpriced potato chips with ranch dip was about the only option. Never again.

Great spot, the mixologist did a wonderful job of taking care of us. We actually went twice in the same evening, once prior to dinner and we returned after dinner, both visits were exceptional.

Had reservations at Deans Study for 715pm. Hostess said very busy and to wait at bar. 30min later still not seated. Finally taken to Deans Study and only one other couple sitting at bar. Very poor service by hostess.

The place is nice, great service and fun drinks. Food is just terrible. They have an amazing kitchen next door. They can do better. No food would be better. We ordered the three different bites and all were NO BUENO. The cones and cookie were just too sweet. Killed the main protein flavor.

What a great hidden gem this is! They have an outstanding array of liquors and signature drinks. Jordan, the bartender, was phenomenal. Not only was he personable, but he mixes a mean cocktail (a necessity before dinner). We’ll definitely be back.
