   Wonderful food. Loved the decor and atmosphere which was smart but relaxed. Only disappointment for me as a solo diner was the lack of choice of wines by the glass but have still rated the restaurant top marks. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

   Another lovely visit to the Stravaig. Warm welcome and excellent cocktails. Lovely ambience in the restaurant and attentive staff especially David the Manager. Great menu choice. Look forward to our next visit.

   Waiter gave us wrong menu. Took my jacket but not friends when they arrived. Food good.

   The food was very good with a wide range of options. The wine list similarly offered a variety of choices. The overall ambience was excellent with comfortable seating good decor and noise level well controlled. Sadly the evening was let down by the service. Although the initial order was taken promptly and the food and drink came in good time thereafter it failed. We were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu, which we did, but it was never brought. During that time we could see the staff on mobile phones and things were clearly not busy, and they were cleaning up around us, so disappointed we asked for the bill and left. An apology was offered but in such an insincere and condescending manner it was frankly rude.

   Booked a table for 7 for my daughters 18th birthday the staff we're polite helpful and nothing was an issue for them we had a mixture of pasta burgers steak pie and fish all guests complimented the food. I would definitely go back and would happily recommend the restaurant to others.

   We booked to celebrate a special wedding anniversary , having hosted our wedding reception on the premises 30 years ago. I asked for some special consideration as a result and the management and staff could not have been more helpful and cooperative. We had a lovely evening and the food was excellent. We were also given a short tour of the building as it is now (somewhat changed since 1995). I would highly recommend Stravaig for food, decor and atmosphere.

   The food was nice, but a less choice than the last time I visited. There was a few things unavailable on the menu, which was disappointing. The service was quite slow, especially for drinks with some orders being missed and us having to request them again.

    Delicious lunch. Excellent service. Catered well for food allergies. We have eaten here on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed.
