Awful. First time visiting the Stoned Crab and was I looking forward to it as iteems like a decent place right on the water. We got our table quickly but then waited for 10 minutes and nobody came to wait on us. I flagged down a very disinterested waiter and asked him to please send over our server. 10 minutes later and still nobody. Mr Disinterested walked by at least 10 times and never said anything or made any eye contact. At the same time, several female employees were chatting at the host stand. We got up and left. Terrible service. You can get stoned crab elsewhere and I suggest you do.

In Key West for vacation and wanted to try stone crab for the first time. The market prices were not listed as we walked in, and the menu was a bunch of different lists that were very unclear. We asked the waiter to clarify how to order, and ended up ordering a pound of stone crab to share between two people. We got 4 claws with no side dishes whatsoever for $75. It was literally 5 mouthfuls of food, and I’ve had crab legs that were much better. I asked to speak to the manager, feeling embarrassed I didn’t know how expensive stone crab was, but the bottom line was that I was hungry and went to a restaurant for a full meal. The manager gave us two complimentary ceasar salads, and I hoped he would comp the drinks too, so I wouldn’t have to write a bad review, but he didn’t. However, the ambiance was lovely, the cocktails were good, and the food my kids ordered was delicious.

Crabs were old. Person in our group wanted Prime Rib - (“oh we don’t carry that no more”) - but it’s on your menu?? Drinks terrible. No bread. Prices outrageous. Would have been better off at McDonalds.

We walked 2 miles only to be disappointed. We requested a seat outside & was not accommodated. After being seated no came to take our order but many staff walked by. I finally asked the hostess if we could be seat at an outside table that became opened & would she send someone to take our order. I was the one that informed our waitress that my entree came with cornbread. She did not notice nor were guest served cornbread as listed on the "new" menu since it came out. I was looking forward to the cornbread & was disappointed there was no cornbread. Bread was substituted. When my meal came out the only thing that was hot the plantains.

Wow, a complete rip off. Things started off ok as we ordered the seafood chowder, which was delicious. Then we asked the server for recommendations for serving size for stoned crab. She suggested 3 large claws, as there were three of us dining. Three "large" claws (which were more like medium size) cost $96!! $32/claw - and mine wasn't even cooked enough to get all the meat out.

Maybe the worst food in along time.
The price was high and even if Sysco food was served it would been gourmet.
Save your money and try McDonalds for something better.

Great find for us. We had the seafood tower. We ate about all of it and there was plenty. Our server Martina was quick, friendly, and took great care of us. Nice spot along the water. The added information about the owners was interesting and great marketing. We will be back on our next trip.

What a great lunch! The shrimp (fried and grilled) and the fresh grilled yellowtail snapper were all terrific and we could have eaten all of the fries! Great value and friendly service 😀

Over priced, very small lobsters. I even asked how big the lobster’s were and the waitress said they are big. I got 3 bites of lobster for $38.00. Went away from the restaurant hungry.

Unfortunately I would not recommend. Way way over priced. 4 stoned crab claws $78! And they were just ok. Website stated they were $10 each. Everything was very expensive and mediocre.

Raw oysters were outstanding main course to build your own meal was terrible. Tiny crab claw for $10 bucks was tiny and dried out. Lobster tail was overcooked and steak was cold Not with the $49 bucks

For the price, Stoned Crab was very poor. Food was average/low quality. Out for seating was cramped and in poor condition. Service was what I would expect at a fast food establishment. Overall, extremely disappointed, way over priced and limited options on the menu.

Worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Wind was blowing and fountain blew nasty water in our face and food. We asked it to be turned off and they turned it back on a few minutes later. Service was horrible waiter couldn’t speak English well enough to know my boyfriend orders his meal and never received it. Waiter said for our trouble he was giving us a piece of pie but then added it to our bill. Crab was old and dry tasting, shrimp had no flavor and pie was disgusting. Corn was over cooked and had to chew. Food was way overpriced. Never going back!

Shocked on a Thursday night that such a renowned place was very empty. Then we received the check and understood. Very overpriced. Service was terrible. Nice young kids who obviously are untrained. No visible manager anywhere in the vicinity. You would think our table of mature business people would have been looked after better. And the price was insane. That being sad claws were delicious. Rest of the food was above average.

To be fair the service was good, our waiter Nick did a fine job. The food with the exception of the crab claws was below par at best. It’s hard to screw up crab claws. On the topic of the claws, $119.00 for “2” colossal claws which were good sized, exceptionally overpriced. Would not recommend. Nick got the fritters and Caesar salads taken of the bill after my complaint without me asking him to do so which was greatly appreciated.

As I said nick had 2 Caesar salads and an order of grouper fritters removed from the bill which would have added $13 for the fritters and $9 each for the salads, adding another $31 to total.
Would not ever return.

Service was terrible. Sean, our waiter was obviously not happy with the fact that we were not having a huge meal and drinks. We were rushed thru our dinner (of soup and salad) and and waited next to the table for our payment and practically ushered us to so he could seat someone else at the table. Food was overpriced and drinks were ridiculously priced. Sean's attitude only added to the poor experience.

Absolutely delicious food and drinks. Martina was the best. So accommodating. The drinks are eco friendly and biodynamic wines. The fish is fresh caught. Nice chill setting with beautiful and relaxing views

Two plates came out every 15 minutes. They gave the wrong meal to someone which they ate half of it. We are sure it was replated as they took it from table . Our last 2 plates we had to ask about and he said oh I’m sorry we ran out of chicken do you want to order something else. Chicken was the only thing on menu that wasn’t seafood and they did not want seafood and at this point we had been there for 2 hours waiting on our food. Needless to say they left without eating. Will never return.

No nurse sharks-primary reason brought family. Was given menu ( apparently dinner instead of lunch) and then couldn’t order items we wanted) Then they gave us lunch menus. Not as big variety Service was very slow. Below expectations-food was very average. Would not recommend

Went there with reservations, was seated promptly.
After being seated waited over 20 minutes and not a single person came to the table. We got up and left. Walked past the reception station and no one even noticed. Worst service I’ve ever experienced.

Waitress was delightful, food was great! Walked from the Havana Cabana along the sea line, was there in no time! The prices aren't cheap, but who goes to get fresh-catch seafood in key west and expects to do it on the cheap?
