   Unfortunately our experience left much to be desired. Service was polite but incredibly slow. Food arrived lukewarm and for the price, wasn’t very good quality (mushy vegetables, fatty steak, chewy focaccia). With so many great option in Canmore, Stirling needs to level up.

   The Roast Beef Buffet on Sunday night is amazing. Fabulous roast beef and trimmings along with the wide selection at the rest of the buffet make this an occasion not to be missed!

   My mom and I had a lovely time at The Stirling's High Tea. We have been to a few high teas before, but we both agreed that this one was our favourite. There was so much food with a wonderful variety and selection. I loved that they had the tea tins waiting on the table for us so we could smell each one. The service was wonderful, and we had the perfect view of the mountains!

   Honestly expected more from the Easter Brunch. A few suggestions for the future… 1. Have an Eggs Benedict Station … don’t put them in steam trays (they get both soggy and ironically tough on the bottom). 2. Have a soufflé pancake station … they are fairly unique and relatively cheap. 3. Have a crepe station … both savory and sweet. I understand you have to work on a budget … but more staff on stations would produce a better experience (or remove the poke and extra omelet station) Hope that helps.

   We had an excellent dinner at The Stirling! I took my parents for their belated birthday and they loved it. Our server was very informative, the food was excellent and the wine recommendation was loved by all. Anthony is the best server we have had there!

   We arrived early but were seated at our table. The server was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious! We started with cocktails and the cauliflower bites. So good! For our mains, we both had the 10oz ribeye. Spectacular! Cooked to perfection and a decent serving of veggies and wedge potatoes. We are in Canmore for 3 more days and will likely go back for another meal.

    We went for a 4 course wine paring dinner. First was Digby scallops and they were superlative. Next came some Duck breast and the flavour was very good. The last main was Braised beef that was presented like a deconstructed tourtierre . Wonderful meal and B.C. wines.
