The Stirling Dining Room and Lounge is the Malcolm Hotel’s casual dining experience featuring Alberta’s finest local ingredients. The prime rib Sunday evening special turned out to be a great experience. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was very nice and attentive. Only little point to mention was that the music was quite heavy rock. Not what you would expect for a Sunday family dinner.

Unfortunately our experience left much to be desired. Service was polite but incredibly slow. Food arrived lukewarm and for the price, wasn’t very good quality (mushy vegetables, fatty steak, chewy focaccia). With so many great option in Canmore, Stirling needs to level up.

The Roast Beef Buffet on Sunday night is amazing. Fabulous roast beef and trimmings along with the wide selection at the rest of the buffet make this an occasion not to be missed!

My mom and I had a lovely time at The Stirling's High Tea. We have been to a few high teas before, but we both agreed that this one was our favourite. There was so much food with a wonderful variety and selection. I loved that they had the tea tins waiting on the table for us so we could smell each one. The service was wonderful, and we had the perfect view of the mountains!
