Wait was very long. Even though the restaurant was not crowded, we were seated at a table that was WAY too large for our party. Food was significantly delayed and we waited over an hour for the food. Halibut was tasteless and cold. Pork chops were undercooked and half raw. Management never engaged with us even after we complained about wait time and food. First time at Statler we had a good experience. The second time was completely different. I hope they fix the inconsistency issues.

We had a wonderful meal and were able to talk and hear each other with our party of 6. I had the filet and it was outstanding; perfectly cooked and beautiful! We shared several apps- aok good- and the oysters were delicious.

Loved everything. The valet is directly in front of the restaurant, they are there as you pull up. Parking garage also available. Katrina was our server, wonderful waitress. They are on top of everything. No used dishes sit on tables. Their picked up immediately. Dessert cart (large one) brought to our table. Wonderful. The quality of the food was outstanding. Will return. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a lovely restaurant! The ambience reminds one of a French style cafe. The service was impeccable. Food was absolutely wonderful! The best French Onion Soup I have ever had!! Beautiful setting right across from Grand Circus Park. Just an all around pleasurable experience. Last but not least they pay for parking at the attached underground garage! What's not to like??

Our first time at the Statler, best described as "good." We liked the "Parisian bistro" ambience, very much like Le Supreme down the street. The service (Ella waited our table) was excellent, even to the point of explaining how the smoker device for my smoked Manhattan worked; I've subsequently ordered one online. The appetizer (Oysters Rockefeller) were good - pretty standard, as were both our entrees (perch and halibut): both were a tad overcooked, but the bigger issue was both dishes were best described as "uninspired," not bad but lacking in inspiration. Both were dishes that a reasonably competent cook (both of us are) could do in one's home kitchen. If you want this kind of atmosphere and food, the previously-mentioned Le Supreme, but a block or two south, is a better bet - similarly priced but food cooked and ;resented with more thoughtfulness and creativity. So, good but at a 3-star level.

Thank you for giving us a try and for sharing such thoughtful feedback, Stephen. We're glad to hear that Ella’s service stood out and that you enjoyed the ambiance and your smoked Manhattan experience. It is certainly a nice touch that we love to offer. That said, we’re sorry to hear the entrées didn’t leave a stronger impression. Your comments about execution and creativity are taken seriously, and we’ll be sharing them with our chef as we work to elevate every aspect of the dining experience. We hope to welcome you back and provide a more memorable meal next time.

We had a fantastic brunch at The Statler. The shrimp and oysters, the Short Rib Bordelaise, the chocolate croissant, the capacinno, and the mocktails were delicious. The service was professional, and we didn't feel hurried. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We will be back to try the dinner menu.

New menu with more American cuisine then French. Slightly disappointed. Main dishes tasted dry ( duck and fish)
    The StatlerResponded 5 days ago
Thank you for your feedback, Ellen. We’re sorry to hear that the new menu didn’t meet your expectations and that the duck and fish were not as flavorful as they should have been. We’ll share your comments with our chef as we continue to refine our offerings and work to provide our guests with the best experience possible. We truly appreciate you giving us a try and hope to welcome you back for a better experience.

My assigned waiter never came to the table, no greeting upon arrival and no thank you or how was your stay and meal. We had a person who was experiencing her 5th days at the restaurant and shadowing our waiter. She was personable and very helpful. I gave directly to her a cash tip and told her it was for her only. She said she would give the money to our waiter and I said no and I would take care of the gratuity on the check.
