The Station 100
Besides using pure quality ingredients to create their dishes, the artful presentation of these creations hold true to the notion that you eat with your eyes first. The dishes, desserts, and drinks that represent Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Austria and France will neither disappoint your eyes nor palate
If you are looking for something very special and unique, this is the place to go!
The food was delicious and our server was very helpful. Nice ambience and relaxing dining experience.
Great food! Great service!
Most delicious 4-course Valentine's Day dinner - but did get busy around 7 and service was stretched. Will go again when they offer a special dinner!
We found this amazing restarant, only walking distance from our hotel. The menue has both German and Italian influence. The wine list extensive. Priced very reasonably. We highly recommend. We will definately return our next time in town.
Just as it said it was on their web site. It suited us just fine for our 47th Ann. I do think that more train station atmosphere is needed. My understanding is the owner wants to modernize and I think that would be a huge mistake. It is advertised as a train station and should reflect that more and keep that theme year round.
We come back there next time in Frankenmuth.
Excellent, varied European menu. Our dishes were prepared and presented without a flaw. We enjoyed the breaded mushrooms, lasagna (meat sauce), and pork schnitzel. All the dishes were extremely tasty! We will definitely visit again, but next time will leave room for dessert!
The staff was wonderful. They corrected the bill for me even though it was actually my mistake. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Customer is first, food was amazing, lovely experience.
I might recommend this place to a friend if they didn't mind very slow service. The food was wonderful but again the service was very poor
Very unique spot with unusual decor and great food. Really enjoyed the Hungarian Goulash.
Food was wonderful, wife and I got great service and the restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Will be coming back whenever we visit again!!
Great place to dine. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent and the food outstanding. A perfect way to spend the evening. We will be back.
Great place, people, service, location, and food! Great place for any occasion!
The food was unique, the lasagna was made with crepes instead of noodles. They were welcoming and patient and the service was great. Try the salad because the dressing is AMAZING! They sell the bottle for $9 and it's worth every penny!!! I had a curry rice dish with pineapple and bananas and it was phenomenal! So unique! The floor was individually laid hand tiles... someone had a LOT of patience! I'd go back in a heartbeat!!
Great ambiance! The wait staff was very friendly and the food was great!
We came to Old Christmas Station to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. What a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding and the food was great!
It is away from the main drag and all of the crowds. You can walk into town if you want. No problem getting a parking spot. Food is great. Service was great. Awesome desserts. If you want chicken, go somewhere else. If you want Wiener Schnitzel, this is the place! We will be coming here instead of the mayhem that comes with Bavarian Inn and Zehnder's.
Friendly and inviting staff, food as expected and delicious
This is our second visit to the Old Christmas Station and both times we have truly enjoyed the meal and service. This is a hidden gem in Frankenmuth, even as a past resident from the area I was not aware they were here. Everyone seems to migrate to Zehnders or the Bavarian Inn but you wont be disappointed with The Old Christmas Station for their offering. Their wine selection is very good, and all of us enjoyed our meals. Located at the top of the Hill, even their signage makes it a bit difficult to locate. If you go, I believe you will be pleased.
I was disappointed that the interior had changed. The charm I enjoyed before was the antique items on the wall, the openness of the building, being able to look on main st. Seeing the kitchen from the front of the building was not the best..
Phenomenal food, beautifully displayed. Lovely and clean space.
We chose this restaurant for our annual girlfriend Christmas lunch. We made the drive from Livonia and it was well worth the trip. The restaurant and the menu are unique and a pleasant and relaxing change from the newer "trendy" places. It had old world charm and service at a relaxed pace that we enjoyed. I recommend to skip the chicken dinner and give The Old Christmas Station a try next time you are in Frankenmuth.
Incredible home made, cook to order food. Veal wiener schnitzel was incredible! Spaetzle was awesome. Highly recommend this off the beaten path restaurant!
Definitely a memorable dining experience! We started out with a slight hiccup, as their computer apparently assigns parties of three to a tiny table, and there were no others available, but the staff was extremely kind and gracious. We started with a salad, and immediately demanded to know what the outstanding dressing they had used was. It’s made in house and, to my delight, was available for purchase. We had the Austrian Goulash and the Lamb Chops; both were absolutely delicious, followed by a wonderful apple strudel, and a lighter-than-air Black Forest cake. A very memorable meal for our family, and we would love to return on our next trip to Frankenmuth.
Perfect dining setting to continue the Christmas feel that’s woven throughout the town
Love the atmosphere, quiet small venue personal attention. Fabulous food!
Average food but better than most offerings in town. It's a nice escape from crowds of main downtown with good service. Small but adequate wine list.
Well this place was fantastically beautiful. They were slow on a Black Friday but we made a reservation anyway. Our waitress was amazing! However, we waited over an hour for our adult main entree and that is not acceptable. Our children's food came out along with our salads and soup and that was just fine. Our sons grilled cheese was ice cold but he got his alternate sandwich and ate it before we STILL were waiting on our food. After waiting an hour And 15 minutes we decided to leave. Our food was THEN ready and they asked us if we wanted a to go box. Really? This is NOT THE PLACE TO GO with small children nor is this the place to go if you are hungry and want your food in a timely manner.
Great atmosphere and food, really good service, our thanksgiving dinner was awesome, loved the pumpkin pie.
My wife and I decided to eat at the Christmas Station for our evening thanksgiving meal, supper as it were.
It was fantastic! I had a bowl of the tomato soup and the pork Schnitzel served with traditional South German potato salad, my wife had the
Lasagne a la Marco with a side salad. Everything was delicious. For dessert, my wife had the brownie sundae and I had the Black Forest cake.
The desserts were great but the large hot chocolate is exquisite. Best I ever had. If I lived in Frankenmuth , I’d get this a couple times a week.
Made with dark Belgian chocolate. I highly recommend stopping and having a bite to eat and some hot chocolate.
The three waitresses were very professional, pleasant and courteous.
Thanksgiving dinner should not have been offered as the 4 course dinner. The food was fancy, but everyone else chose from the menu from pork to lasagna.
Surprised and stunned all at the same time.
Some food was good, like my gluten free lasagna, some were so so. However, the waitress was pretty bad, slow and rude. The hostess and helper were great though, and made up for some of it. Small place though, not like Zander’s and Bavarian Inn.
We loved the restaurant. We had the turkey four course meal and everything was so good. Neighboring table of tourists were so rude. They complained about everything. Waitresses were very busy but extremely attentive.
Food was too salty and bland
Great authentic food best schnitzel in frankenmuth. Nice calm atmosphere. Will visit again
This is a lovely little spot with delicious food and great service. We will definitely go back.
We are sorry to learn that it will take away the Christmas Theme for Renovations..it wont be the same again
Service was very good. Food was excellent price was reasonable. Yes it takes time to prepare good food the wait wasn’t that long considering that.
Was a nice quiet meal on a Sunday afternoon. We went with the house special, Hungarian Goulash and Weiner Schnitzal, and was not disappointed.
The food was very good. I had the cod white. The portion size of the cod was pretty small. Rice was delicious the beef goulash was very good but temp was cold.
we were sitting over a vent so the cold air was a little much.
the apple strudel was the best!!
The food was very good , like I make so I was pleased. Then...the rest ...
Well, we did Not get a table cloth because we made the reservation the same day we went. So ??? We still paid the same money. This was stupid from a business standpoint.
Then the waitress gave me my daughter’s salad and said oh, you ate it. Or something to that effect when serving the entrees. Again “dumb”. Shouldn’t they know who serves what to who? I thought that was a waitress job.
They did not attend patrons well.
