   We had a rez for 6 of us. When we got there it was closed and had a sign up that said Closed for Maintenance. We like this restaurant and will try again. My only issue is that someone should have called/emailed/texted to let us know. We had to roam the streets around the Pantages to find another place to eat. Maybe Open Table could have let us know? The rating that I was forced to give on the page b/4 this doesn't really apply so disregard it. I had to rate it so that I could get to this page. Thanks

   I had reservations pre pantages, and the restaurant was closed for maintenance. There was no notice or call to warn me of the situation. It was very bad as I had no other plans and left us without a place to go.

   Our first time there and won’t be our last. Truffle fries were delicious. I ordered the truffle chicken. My friend ordered the soul chicken sandwich. My chicken breast was a little dry but the truffle sauce made up for it.

   The Sociale was just what we needed. The location is ideal for the Pantages and so many other Hollywood "spots". The service was quick polite and efficient. The food surpassed our expectations and the special bonus came from Crumbles Patisserie treats for dessert. I highly recommend!

   We were pleasantly surprised by our experience at the Sociale. The food and service were amazing. The ambiance at the restaurant isn’t much to write about but the menu, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the server more than made up for the lack of ambiance. We will most certainly be going back soon. The only negative is the desserts. They are absolutely gorgeous but lacking in taste and quality.

   We've eaten here many times and has always been good but last night was sub-par. Arriving at 5:40 should have been early enough for the restaurant not to run out of salmon and meatballs. Actually, they had 2 salmons left and a group of 6 of us that wanted salmon. So my friend and I split one salmon and my friend who doesn't eat beef had the other. We thought it was a perfect place to go b/4 the theater but something was off last night. Don't think it was the same chef/cook. They also put so much foam atop the fish that it was off putting.

    We have dined at Socaial twice before this experience, & we had an Excellent time. This was to be our after Theater restaurant. This Saturday evening was NOT IT. We had 630pm reservation s but arrived 20 min earlier ( after the theater) we were greeted & seated at our reservation table in the back dining area. The restaurant was filling up at other tables & bar area with other Theater folk. We waited at least 30 min ( at a table with No Place settings or water) No one came to take drink orders or give us water. There was one server who seemed overwhelmed trying ti take orders at other tables with no other assistance from staff. We finally heard there would be a 30 min wait from kitchen because of issues & short staff. At this time we should have left but I was out voted by the rest of my party of 5) Our server said the system was down so they had could not generate computer orders but manually. Then the fire alarm.went off. I don't know why a Manager didn't come out to address what was happening in the kitchen & the short staffing. Because they kept sitting folk at tables instead of closing down & try to take care the diners already seated. Some folk had partial orders, hair in their food, overlooked by overwhelmed staff. Finally a manager ( we requested) came out. You can see by his stained clothing he had been trying to help in the kitchen. He was perturbed & overwhelmed as well. He said the Kitchen had problems with the stove, power , & Beverly back up. But still they were letting folk inside. In the end our mutable had 3 orders come out at different times. The others food was NOT served nor our drunks. And now several diners couldn't pay fir their food because cashier system was still down. Some people had the 8pm show to get to & will stop by afterwards to pay. It was a very bad experience that I hope they will train better on what to do in these situations. Clearly they lost money and other potential returning customers. I felt sorry for the staff.
